There's loads of drilling now. And a radio is playing. Drilling for a boiler repair is not a good sign. if the radio is playing "The Heat Is On" then they're just taking the piss. |

Apparently there are problems with the fuse board. Also it's commercial radio and lots of pop songs, that my song my heart is in Havana was just on.

I was really surprised to find that Ubisoft's toys-to-life Starlink is getting good reviews. I had no interest in this game when it was first announced because of the toys-to-life element. Then they revealed that the Switch version would have Starfox, and suddenly it looked a lot more interesting. Now reviewers are saying that a) it isn't necessary at all to buy the toys in order to play it, and b) it's what Norman's Sky should have been from the beginning.
Hmmm. I'm still good for new games and I'm certainly not going to pay £25 for a plastic space ship, but the 'starter pack' that actually contains the Arwing and Fox McCloud looks appealing. All I want for Christmas...

I finally got my new mobo/cpu to post to BIOS. I basically risked electrocution by jumping the power button pins with a screw driver. I also got a PSU tester and the voltage is fine from the PSU, although that does not necessarily mean it's working OK.
Progress though!

You know how I've been complaining about the Dark Souls demo on the Switch? That I had to quit playing it because the A and B button were reversed? And how I thought that won't be a problem once I get the full version tomorrow because no-one can mess up so badly as to not give players the option to remap buttons?
Yeah, about that. I just heard that every other command can be customised except for the A and B button.
I'm ragequitting before I've even started the game.
