Morning!
Mastodon were superb on Saturday night, they played for close to two hours and there wasn’t a dull moment in the entire set. Russian Circles and Red Fang were also very good. Anyone catching this tour is in for a real treat.

Morning! Mrs Crank has a St Andrews day holiday today. I don't.
TV. More modern family. Chris Martin being relatively amusing cameo. Got Mr Robot for the 2nd train.
Games. Fallout 4. Killed the first deathclaw. Spoke to the second sight lady and headed somewhere. Big flying insects. Patched. If I wanted big flying insects I'd go to a jungle somewhere. Not for me.
Going to trade in fallout and uncharted 4 today. Possibly pick up Mafia 3. See what else is in.

Also did a couple of shrines in Zelda and got all the memories.

Alias Grace episode 3 - Grace moves out to another property. Nothing much happens.
I developed the shits this weekend and carried on watching Narcos. I bought a mega drive plug and play thing for the misses for xmas (she requested this). I don't think it has a HDMI cable though, so it seems destined for the second telly.

Monday is it?
Bit more FF7. Cosmo canyon and the town that may or may not have burned down. Recruited the bloke in the coffin, then called it a night.
OTTM: a bit of Xmas shopping, which was awful, then went to watch some ice hockey, which was pretty good.
It somehow passed me by that the new glassjaw album came out on Friday, after a wait of 15 years. Hopefully they will tour over here soon

I only discovered Russian Circles about a year ago. Looking forward to seeing them at the weekend. I find with a lot of bands of that genre I really like them until the growling/screaming starts, so it's always good to find decent instrumental bands |

EDIT: I cannot properly use the quote button. Fuck it. The below is related to Russian Circles: Their first two albums are superb, ones after that are still good. I am very much in the same camp when it comes to the vocals, love the heavy music not so much screaming. You might also enjoy the band LITE, their album Phantasia is excellent. |

I started the first Wolfenstein on PS4 before I wanted to do the second. Killing Nazi's is ridiculous fun.
More Final Fantasy 12 last night, I'm getting more used to the 'Gambits' systems. There was a point last night were I hadn't saved for two hours and most of my party had been poisoned.

I literally cannot understand how people can mix up i.e. and e.g., and it should be punished harshly. |
