Hi! I just watched someone on YouTube eat 65 Macdonald's cheeseburgers. Not sure why. Made me really want a cheeseburger though. Games - nil so far. Although thinking about dusting off the PS3 (original 60gb backward compatible super heavy version, offers accepted). But it's in the cupboard under the telly. And it seems too much hassle. Just fancied Streets of Rage, I still haven't completed the last level with all the bosses. The National Video game museum opened in Sheffield today after its move from Nottingham. I await BabyFs indepth review. What is the word/£ ratio? I think it's about £11 to get in and in the rough end of town. If it is like the Nottingham one then no, it's not worth it. |

Morning,
Games. None really. Logged into GTA to collect the 100k daily bonus and mooched about for about ten mins.
Fillums. Bit more of MI: Fallout. Bit better than before. I take back my previous comments sorta.
Illness. Sore throat gone. Now a cold.
(Insert noise of catarrh being brought up)
Streaming (other than nose). Watched another botw stream. Guy was only two days into it and saw him grabbing his first horse.
Off to a dry ski slope in a bit as the child is going to a 'tubing' party. I'm going as well as Mrs Crank is "unsure of the parking". Hmm. I feel this may be her avoiding me lying about at home with a playstation controller.

Apparently the 1st day of the 12 days is Dec 25th. I was always told 6 days before/6days after. Some utter idiots who can't count have told me 12 days before 12 days after. Err. That's the 24 days of Xmas. |

I played some more PUBG and also got a few top two or three with my brother with Fortnite. PUBG continues to grow on me, I like the gritty reality of it, the way that bullets cause dust to spew up and things like that. I feel if I had more time I could make a give account of myself, but I have R&R to take now, whereas Charlie is still out there in the Bush getting stronger. No R&R for Charlie.

My Amazon Black Friday purchases are already out for delivery today. Theoretically it should fit through the letterbox, but you never know, so gotta stay at home and be on delivery alert.
Last night:
Dinner: hot dogs with potato salad and all the accoutrements. On brioche buns. Sorry Felice, they are practical. Please don't deport me to France.
Gaming: Don't even get me started. I'm just so easily distracted. It goes like this:
Here we are in a dungeon. Why is there no boss? Oh, this is part of a side quest, let me go and fetch the relevant NPC from the nearby town. Now they are following me, but since I'm back in town I could beat up the locals blocking the doorway, but I need Olberic in my party to do that. Okay, now I've got Olberic, he's beaten the old woman unconscious and I can now talk to her husband. Only I can't, because I've only got an 11% chance to get any information out of him. Now I've fetched Alfyn so that he can talk to the old man whose wife is still out cold outside their front door, only he can't either because he's one level below the required status. That's easily fixed, off we go fight some enemies, Alfyn's just got to level up once. Let's go somewhere interesting, like the next town. Oh look, we are already here. Alfyn's still the same level after three random enemy encounters, but there are all these NPCs to interact with in the new town. Here's another side quest we can complete. And a lot of new equipment, and upgrades...
(two hours later) Why am I stuck in this town? I just wanted to complete a dungeon...
TV: night of the panel shows: HIGNFY and WILTY. That's enough David Mitchell for one evening.

You all just wait until Crank gets sidetracked in BOTW. Why aren't there more people getting sidetracked in RDR 2? Do you always do what you meant to do? You can grab a horse as soon as you left the tutorial area (the Great Plateau). I got a nice little horsey early on, but we got separated before I was able to register it at a stable. The night was dark and horribly wet and I got completely lost. Sometimes I still think about my first little horsey. It's somewhere out there. This is something that I don't like about Skyrim, the fact that you can't call your horse and that you can't see on the map where you've left it. I hardly ever use a horse because it's too easy to forget where you parked it, and then you got to run around searching for it. The horsey also gets attacked too easily by enemies, and, unlike in BOTW, you can't revive it. Horsey talk. |

I'm always being sidetracked in Norman's Sky. I don't even remember what the main quest is, or even if there is one.
I just pootle about the universe visiting new places like some kind of space hobo. I do have a home base somewhere on my adopted planet, but I don't know where it is. I can always teleport there from the nearest space station if I need to. Somehow my ship travels with me.

I do all the optional missions I can find in a game. Deadspace3 is a pain because you can't save in one. Now if you excuse me, I have a rather exquisite Paul Masson California Carafe to quaff.*
