More RDR2 last night. I feel like I probably have a long way to go in Chapter 2, despite having put a reasonable amount of time into it. I've been killing things for fun and small monetary gains, which might be why I am not progressing with the story very quickly. I caught two fish when Horse trampled them in a river accidentally. I seem to die considerably more often than is strictly necessary. At least one mission seemed to glitch so it was impossible to complete without giving up and going away for a bit.
I think I'm the only person on here playing RDR2, but who knows? I certainly don't read anyone else's posts.

Specifically I am sulking because we lost. Fortunately there is another game on Wednesday* so by tomorrow evening I may rage quit on the sulk. I do not think it was entirely unfair, and Blues were in part authors of our own downfall. However a couple of crucial decisions very much went against us. in particular the appalling decision to give a penalty for the DVB fouling our defender and then taking a dive. I am also surprised the greasy one didn't so much as pick up a booking for repeated diving. I also appeared on TV more than once, looking disgruntled. Which is right, in that I was disgruntled. A suspiciously large number of people saw this. At least I have an alibi for anything outside the HoD between 12-2. I would prefer to have been further back I do not wish to be on TV. I have a good face for radio. * It is however in South Bermondsey, which is nice. The last time Alan Hutton had a good game was, to the best of my knowledge, 2007. Nobody could have predicted that he had another one in him. The additional problem is that he will now get 20 more caps on the back of that. I've also been on tv looking disgruntled (and absolutely hammered) (and wearing a Russ Abbot 'jimmy hat') watching Scotland lose 1-0 in Lithuania. Such was the state of my irate physiognomy that it attracted comment from the match commentator. That was the end of my brief media career.

Also, hi. I was in deepest Northumberland over the weekend, with no wifi and no mobile coverage. A horrifying experience all round. I did manage an hour of RDR2 last night upon my return. I brought in a bandit who was poisoning people, and got 50 bucks for my trouble. I'm currently mostly using my money to upgrade the camp. I've also been mostly helping people when there is a kill/forgive option. So far it's working out, but I imagine this tactic will have repercussions at some point.

Since I appear to be the only person at this place who plays Hearthstone and Fallout 76 I was wondering if there are any games in which other people here also "plough a lonely furrow" Age of Wonders 3; with loads of mods Civilization IV with the epic Fall from Heaven 1.0g mod (I don't like the straight jacket version 2 puts on you with it's storyline

The additional problem is that he will now get 20 more caps on the back of that. Firstly, an aging ex-Ranger romping it in England. Standard. Secondly, 20 more caps for Hutton on the back of one performance wouldn't be as bad as the 34 Steven Fletcher got for being scouted by Real Madrid in his youth. We are stuck for a right back at the moment though, so I could see a call-up happening if big Eck hasn't lost all his mental faculties by then. There's something not right there...

The head honcho at one of my former work places was a supporter of the Birmingham City Blueses. When he gave a presentation in front of the entire organisation about restructuring, job losses etc, someone snuck a slide in of a picture of the 1982 European cup winning villa team. Many people didn't find it very funny. I did though, and that's the important thing.

Alan Hutton. I'd forgotten about him, he was absolute garbage at spurs, signed as if I remember rightly "the white Cafu".
We've had some real no hopes at right back over the years, him and chimbonda right at the top of that list.
To have walker and now trippier come through (the latter has been ropey recently..) has been brilliant.
Aurier is our newest resident head case in RB position

I'm continuing to plough my lonely Octofurrow. Turns out I'm not very good at it.
Turns out that I don't need to put the NPC in harm's way in that dungeon, I just need to take someone to provoke. Third time lucky. At least I found two more dungeons, including the Warbringer's Shrine. I'll count this as progress.
Last night we indulged Mr Tent Rooster's love for Russian novels by reading War and Peace together. Actually, because that might longer than me getting through Octodad Travel Ban we just watched a bit of the BBC adaptation.
But also! Mr Tent Rooster agreed to watch his first bit of Dr Who, and he had to admit that it wasn't what he expected and he couldn't say that he outright hated it. That's a huge development.

Aurier is our newest resident head case in RB position When redknapp took over his first priority was to make sure we had 5 right-backs. Second priority was to put David Bentley on the left of midfield...

Now Stephen Fry is saying fish use tools. I just can't picture it, how do they hold them? Do fish even have hands? What a world.
