I don't remember anyone making a genuine personal announcement and then being mocked.
There were occasions were people said something a bit odd, got mocked, then made a personal announcement, which could be a bit awkward. You can't really blame someone for treading on eggshells they didn't know about.
I expect Shenguin read a fake personal announcement and didn't realise it was a joke, then read a series of jokes relating to it believing everyone to be a monster.
What I mean is I'm not sorry.

Oooh, new PSU buddies! What did you go for? I picked up a 850W Thermaltake Toughpower, with RBG, ready for the new build. An "EVGA 850 GQ, 80+ GOLD 850W, Semi Modular, EVGA ECO Mode, Power Supply 210-GQ-0850-V3" Don't tell that tree-hugger Baby that you bought 850W, he'll quote stuff at you about the planet The PS4 slim by comparison uses at most 165 watts. Because of you two this is now more likely to happen...

It's the RGB on a PSU which is the oddest element of all this.

It's the RGB on a PSU which is the oddest element of all this. If it can have RGB, it should have RGB. That's my mantra for the new build. All the colours! It's not too garish.

Re: mocking someone after they've suffered something genuinely awful, before realising that it was a real trauma? Only a monster would do that on the box. I have done it real life, though. I'd gone swimming with 2 of my housemates at 11am only to discover that the pool was closed due to flooding, so we went to the pub instead. 8 or 9 hours later we staggered home and on approaching, saw our other flatmate making silly faces through the living room window. We immediately ran through the gate and pressed our faces up against the glass, making hilarious faces back at her, before realising she was actually in floods of tears and the living room was also full of police officers, who were staring at us in disgust. She;d been mugged a couple of hours earlier. We often laughed about it in the years to come, or we probably would have done if she was still speaking to me.

I like the idea that the swimming pool was too wet for Rolling to swim in it, so he went to the pub.

So close to being plausible, but the detail about the pool being flooded pushed credulity just a little too far. Good story though.

I'm also really disturbed at the lack of love for Blackadder. Fucking millennials. No Ripping Yarns? The Curse of the Claw is worth a look. Also, Porridge. That is excellent, I watched some episodes last night (when I wasn't in the khazi).

Hello all.
I announced my mum's passing on the blog. Later on in the afterbox, I believe someone said something along the lines of "Right, is the group therapy session over?" Still, onwards and upwards. Onwards and upwards! [sits in shower, crying, while wearing cutoffs]
I watched The Angel last night, and film about espionage between Egypt and Israel prior to the Yom Kippur war (look it up, millenials). Was quite good. ****

The pool was really flooded, or at least they claimed it was. It was in a slightly seedy part of London, so maybe it was really closed to host a drugs war or something.
