Well I'm just sitting here refreshing the "Track Package"* page, it starts out interesting but does become a bit repetitive, there was a nice twist when it went to "Out for delivery" but now seems to have fallen back into the old rut *open goal for somebody Your face has a track package page. am i doing it right?

A whole page and no sympathy for Conchord and his degu? You bastards. Conchord, I hope the degu is ok. Have you considered getting a dog or a cat, rather than an overweight rat though?

... Oops, I assumed you were a Netflix user, so Sky then? Netflix has taken over Lucifer after Fox cancelled it so not sure how that will work out for you Ah, I see you're a Prime user, okay will bear that in mind Felice, dwarling, in this place, never ever say or imply you're sorry... Yeah but sometimes I forget to switch Personas On the Prime thing I'd recommend Preacher, American Gods and of course for completeness all 7 series of Buffy

I don't think there's any way I can do this right.

With the Amazon app you get alerted when the van is less than ten stops away from you or something.
Then you can stand at the front door and witness the driver dropping your parcels, only to tell you not to worry, he'd dropped them before.

A friend of mine had a Hermes delivery before Christmas. They'd hidden an annoying toy from their toddler in the front garden, and in the process of delivering their package, the Hermes driver walked off with the toy without a second look.

I don't so much mind being banished to the office, if it wasn't for the massive commute.
I may have to become one of those gamer types who plays on a game console on public transport. I could probably get about a tenth of the way through octagon travel sized mouthwash.

Sounds like a good deal. You won't even be lying to your toddler when you tell them that The Hermes Man has taken away their Little People Fun Sounds Farm because the batteries just wouldn't die. A few years ago some desperate parent dumped a Fisher Price phone that wouldn't shut up because it had lost its receiver in a bin bag under the tree outside our house. Kept me up all night...

Tbh I just assume no one reads my posts, but thank you. I have a horrible feeling it's going to be another round of surgery. Poor little guy. We did consider a dog but, with us both working 9-5, it didn't seem fair to leave it home alone. Cats, no. The wife likes them, I'm not a fan. We also looked at normal rats but the degu's fluffy tail won us over. Wouldn't swap them for the world now.

I just heard on the radio that Ali Bongo is the president of Gabon. Makes me wonder what else I've missed. Is Russ Abbot the head of the IMF?

Also: Games? no, except for a quick go on Steep over the weekend. Quite good fun, though seems pretty samey. Telly? started watching Daredevil on Netflix. Pretty good, even to someone who's pretty jaded with the superhero thing. OTTM? Took down the Xmas tree and lobbed it in the garden, and put all the remaining booze away in a cupboard. I'm sick of the stuff, though it is eminently possible that I'll be back on it tomorrow since work has started again today.
