In between me arriving in Southwick and leaving some three hours later, the weather saw fit to dump quite a large amount of snow on the greater Brighton area. A half-hour drive back took me 75 minutes. And this was despite the coast road being mostly slush.
People are idiots.
It was getting back to Saltdean proper where things got tricky. The side roads are obviously much thicker with the white stuff, and so I had a couple of instances where my experiences driving the dirt tracks in GT came in handy. Not that you can drive a 4wd Kia Sportage in Gran Turismo.
Anyway, I got it on the drive after some serious clutch-burn and some shovellin' and some stone-spreadin'. Whether it stays on the drive, which is sloped, is another story.

Snow. Just enough to look nice without being a total pain in the arse.

Enough white stuff laying around to close schools but guess work is still on. Joy.

Plan for later is stock piling of draught ale. I have a suitable large round container to store it in. Also comes with its own built in transport system.

No snow. Just ice and cold enough to kill my broadband. Better be back up after the school run!

I have a cold. All bunged up and I have a sore throat and headache.
Crank - thanks for the logitech game store heads up, I am tempted by a £50 G502 but I will have to wait 'til payday now as I blew my money on other things.
Sod all snow, just a bit cold here.
Played Fortnite badly with my brother last night.

Snow! Going to work is cancelled, working is not.
Games - Tangledeep on Switch, a top roguelike that's a little like rogue and a lot like fun.
Theres also a fairly good sale on both Nicalis and Nisa games on the switch eShop at the moment - worth a look. Yomawari is a top tip.

I have a G502. Nice mouse, although I have a tendency to keep accidentally changing DPI settings in PUBG as the buttons to change sensitivity are very close to left-mouse.

No snow, but -7 up here.
Trains were cancelled and I think I've lost some toes.
I'm considering buying a coffee and just pouring the entire thing all over my feet to heat them up.

Had a punt at the final boss, no spoilers, take a lot of supplies, there's a series of fights in a place you can't leave and there is no "inn", got to the big bad without too much trouble/thinking, the last one beat me but I learnt quite a bit
<edit> also you will need to use everyone, so makes sure there's no one left behind and they all have reasonable gear

I spoke to my home insurance provider yesterday. Helpful chap with a Scottish accent, the call was not too annoying as these things go. Except, he punctuated ever sentence with small grunts of effort, as if he was trying to overcome particularly uncomfortable constipation. I assume he was on the loo during the call.
What I'm basically saying is, which of you Scottish folk work in an insurance call centre?

Waiting for Nursey, bless her... even snow, well, slush now, doesn't stop the torture run... wandering around the net looking for unusual popular music from other cultures I found this!

That is outrageous stereotyping, chumbles. I'd come round yours and give you a piece of my mind if I wasn't so drunk.

Really enjoying your weather reports. Lunch and weather reports are the only reason I pop in, love a bit of self harm.
