I played one game of Apex Twin Legends with my brother and a random. The random screamed abuse at us throughout and we died in the first contact we made so we switched to PUBG, where I got 3 kills in 4 matches and a 6th place. I will give Aphex Legions another go, but I will sure as shit be muting chat.

I've got a North x Finback DIPA in the fridge for BDT, but it was too late to reap the benefits of intoxication by the time I got round to drinking it.

Tried a few more games of Apex, think I am getting the hang of it. In the last game I think I even saw the guy who killed me, definite progress.

I have surfaced; pain is just painful, but I feel awful. Today was much worse... an extra 2 days worth of infection to scrub off exposed nerve ends. I have been listening while in the dozy haze to some beautiful classical guitar performances to comfort my soul, but I won't chuck them in here ... I may trot out Frak-ah, if there is need...
