Apparently there’s more than one ending for FC5 Well, yea, there's the, now typical, walking away at the start 'ending' and you're offered a choice at the end. I went for the rather obvious choice of arresting the big bad. I'm going to hazard a guess that I could've pulled a gun and killed him, giving me a third option.

conch - danky here, writing in to suggest metro exodus, or Resident Evil 2. Neither are RPGs. I am tempted by both of those but, as they're still new, I likely won't go for them just yet. It takes a special game (or a fuck ton of hype) for me to pay full price.

I've been tempted by Metro Exodus, but then it got pulled from Steam, and i'm too deep in ED at the moment to give it much time, but it'd be good to hear it it's any good. I don't think anyone on here is playing it yet?

Last time I went skiing there was some guy, probably in his 60s, wearing full kit Tech3 (Moto GP) jacket, polyester t shirt and hat on the flight - both ways, so I assume he’d stuck with the outfit all week.
Footy kit I can understand, to a degree: you’re out on the costas but you still fancy a bit of bother with some Leeds wankers, but I don’t really see the same happening if you spot a Repsol Honda jacket across the room.
Band T shirts, particularly tour t shirts, are intended so that fat insufferable music bores can identify each other in pubs and drone on for hours and to serve as fair warning to others.
They are also for one-upmanship at gigs. Either “yeah, I was listening to this in 98, where have you been? What do you mean you’re 20?” Or “I am so much more metal than you. Yeah, I know it’s a Katy Perry gig, so what?”
I have several band t shirts. Most no longer fit.

I don't think anyone on here is playing it yet? The Steam thing is a dispute between Valve and Epic, not a quality issue. You just have to buy it elsewhere on pc. The box for Metro Exodus is very nice. I need to finish 2033 (and Last Light) so I haven't actually started it yet.

In the dance scene (daddio!) record label t-shirts are better for being a wanker. Especially small Detroit techno labels.

Reprints of classic band t-shirts are the best. I've seen a 10 year old in Tesco wearing a Guns N'Roses T-shirt. I'm prepared to bet heavily he didn't buy Appetite for Destruction when it was first released.
There was also a blogger who wore an AC/DC cap but was not actually a fan (He just liked the logo). Attempts to discuss their back catalogue were met with incomprehension. He is on the highway to hell.

Why do young men feel the need to wear football shirts going on holiday? Look at me i'm a good sellick/sevco man... Fucking idiots. Is it any worse than showing your allegiance by wearing a band t-shirt? Hmm. Probably. When my brother was being evicted (don't ask), I came round with my car to grab as much of his stuff as I could. His instructions? 'Get my football shirts and, oh..er..some other stuff as well.'. He supports Chelsea. I think everyone supports chelsea these the way their games have been! morning all..

Rolling
I am half way to being an evil billionaire. I just need to sort out the billionaire bit.
I just love having all my music and games ready for instant access. I can't decide whether i want a full blown NAS set up or need a new pc first. I very much like the look of the Seagate Ironwolf drives. Big capacity, heavy metal name, big price. It speaks my language

Is it any worse than showing your allegiance by wearing a band t-shirt? Hmm. Probably. First off, I'd question your choice of holiday destination... Secondly, football shirts in general? Or just on holiday? I have some of both - the former only England / Tottenham, I'm not one of those people who collect weird and wonderful countries. Generally only worn when playing football, but occasionally to the odd match. I think football shirts have a more legitimate reason to be worn than band ones, but accept the connotations that come with that although I think the scorn shown is sometimes a bit much.

Now I'm in search of a new game to start. Should probably go and finish RDR2 or KC:D, but just can't muster the energy. I've started the process of trying to get my FFXIV account back, and started downloading Conan Exiles (both MMORPGS, the latter was part of a Humble Monthly I believe), but could really do with a single player game, as other people are the wurst. Any suggestions? As you may have guessed, I prefer RPGs. May I suggest Assassins' Creed: Odyssey? It is rather good, and has RPG-leanings (skill-tree, leveling, dialogue choices).

He is on the highway to hell. This is precisely what I mean. You wear a band T shirt, you’d bettter be ready for a good forty, forty five minutes of someone like Sheep talking at you. Don’t want to get caught with your pants down.

Bit of Life on Netflix last night ... More than there was here; bloody organic sprite keeps switching on the alpha waves ... while my body recovers from my sessions with Miss Whiplash Nursey at the moment I fall asleep without more than a couple of seconds warning. So many cold cups of tea, of waking to find my trackball has fallen from my nerveless grasp and the ball has jumped out of its housing and made a bid for freedom... dunno when I w...

Does wearing a football shirt to a game give the team you are supporting a +1 kicking bonus?

Tried starting Shenmue. Gave up after 20 mins. Can't do tank controls any more and the dialogue is just plain awful. You can change the audio to Japanese, which might sound better, but if you can't appreciate the greatness of terrible English dub you don't deserve Shenmue.

I have a Boards of Canada t-shirt and a Bo Ningen t-shirt #bandtalk
I have also not bought a footy shirt since I was 12, because this is the right approach to go through life.

You say that, but the most threatened I have ever felt is when I was engaged in conversation outside a pub in Kendal by the scariest looking man I have seen in my life, who was wearing an Isuzu cap and wanted to talk about Isuzu trucks, and I was obliged to admit that I had no idea what an Isuzu truck was. For a brief moment the rage in his eyes suggested he thought I was a Volvo man taking the piss, until he realised from the fear in mine that I just wasn't active on the Isuzu truck scene.

Yep, definitely paying for her to come and beat him up.
Chumbles! You’re the last one I’d have taken for a sex person. I’m surprised, disappointed, and a little bit impressed.

Iron Maiden, Halo (master Chief) and Hal 9000 "i'm afraid I can't do that Dave" one west ham scarf in the wings as I can't handle crowds (or pointless football silliness).. don't mind watching a good game though.
