Tofurkey and emmental again. Is that how you spell emmental? More mustard today, and rocket. Not convinced it actually tastes of anything - the tofurkey, that is - and so happy to report it’s an astoundingly convincing facsimile of the real thing.

Lunch: leftover pasta from last night. egg fried leftover Penne Pasta with mixed herbs and black pepper and fresh strawberry's, halved green and red grapes on a bed of spinach, rocket and watercress. glass of fresh apple, clementines, grape and strawberry juice. fresh coffee after. Summer time goodness. Kane Fu is watching! |

I also bought a new gaming monitor as I figured my existing one was too large for FPS games and it was only 60hz. I have therefore bought a smaller one with a higher refresh rate.

OTTM - Yesterday I was working a project for one of our major vendors with a support chap, who happens to have a fairly common christian and surname combo. Lunchtime today I get an email from a director (no less) advising that tragically, 'Mr common names' had passed away last night.
I therefore composed a sombre mail to the vendors advising them of the same, as some of them have been closely involved with him, and explaining there may be a delay while we organise a replacement etc. Before sending it though, I had this nagging thought, and so looked up these names in the company directory. There are 11 blokes (well 10 now) with the same name listed. Only thing to do was call the director, and sure enough the bloke who'd snuffed it was some random from Hatfield who is nothing to do with us! Had I sent that mail I've no doubt the same director would have happily paraded me as the cause of the inevitable shitshow that would have followed.
Bastard.
