Hi. I went to the house of an acquaintance to watch football and drink.
Games: a few rounds of Apex Legends. Does anybody else play this? I had a purple patch last week where I got 4 wins, but I am now back to being crap.

For some reason I drank all the booze last night, and had a curry. I am somewhat suffering the effects of both of these ventures today.
To compound things, today is not only BDT, but also the monthly meeting of the 'First Thursday Curry Club'. oof.

You shouldn't humanise them. They aren't real people. Doesn't he say he works *for* the recruitment agency? I knew he wasn't real. I get paid by the agency and work for a different company. It makes everything confusing as I have never technically met my employer but they also have no idea what I do. Outsourcing is the best? Watching two contracted out finance departments try and talk to each other while neither can deviate from their script is great. |

It is good to be honest, occasionally, but only occasionally
You don't need to humanise them in your head but keep your rebellion very private.
It is like HR aliens or librarians.
Humour them, don't confront them.

Today is my Friday.
Got a lot of stuff to clear work-wise first though. No games, just some American Gods and Z Nation. Got a new hard drive in my PC so stuff loads quickly now.
Rolling - I will probably dabble in Apex Legions again soon, I expect everyone is now insanely good since I last played around the time of release. I have two kills so far.

The new one is a Samsung 1TB EVO sata 64L NAND. Nothing too fancy, just needed something to load PUBG in good time. The old drive will be taken to Mount Doom and thrown in, as is tradition. |

Today is my Thursday, but I'm working from home. Only 7 minutes away from acceptable beer drinking time.
Last night I watched episodes 3 and 4 of Bodyguard. I couldn't really get into it. Probably because I haven't seen episodes 1 and 2.
