I can't find any thing definitive, but it appears to be either a limit test run or novelty type. lots of gold coloured ones on Ebay, I could find a record as to whether it was defunct legal tender. Getting my eyes tested.
Probably going to replace my gregories with those glass blocks you used to get in walls of toilets.
The initial tests where they blow air and flash lights fuck your vision up anyway. It's a ploy to get you to buy specs.

For those with Prime video this: Greek Myths is rather good Nice, although I tend to avoid content like that as it almost always feels like work. A few days ago the Preferred Mammal and I re-watched the Murder in Mesopotamia adaptation with David Suchet as Poirot, but the fake artefacts are just extremely distracting. Much mirth when a whopper of a "cylinder seal" that needed to be supported with two hands, complete with upside down fake cuneiform writing, was brought out (cylinder seals are tiny objects, usually between 2 and 3 centimetres high). |

I knew most of the stories having read "The Greek Myths" by Robert Graves and watching any film that had Ray Harryhausen stuff in it but was still surprised by how much shagging/rape was in them and basically that all the gods were complete Bastards.
