"Most of the cosplay was down in the pit"
Canary in a cage? Glittery axe? Light on your helmet?
Ok, I dunno where I'm going with this. Missing village people character?

Star Trek I've seen: Films: All of them including the new ones TV Series: Original, Next Gen, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise DS9 is still the best DS9 is definitely the best, despite my soft-spot for TNG. Star Trek I've seen: Films: All of them including the new ones TV Series: Original, Next Gen, DS9, Voyager S1 and Enterprise S1 I've got the Enterprise Complete Box Set so hope to get beyond S1, though finding time between crucifixions treatments, and ad hoc survival courses called Patient Transpo rt is dubious. My absolute favourite SF TV series is Babylon 5, the plotting for which is astonishing - throw away lines in an episode becoming story arcs in later seasons - although the studios screwed it up from what JMS has written. Firefly I saw only as a boxed set, but I loved it. And Farscape (Virginia Hey... shiver) Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, but not the cheapskate universe. I adored the Star Wars IV-VI trilogy - Star Wars IV remains the only film where I've come out of the cinema - the Dominion in TCR - with more energy than when I went in. My friends who saw me propel my 16 stone bulk up the down escalator at speed shouting "The Force is with me" could testify to that... If you can bear the slow start B5 is still worth watching and some of the space battle sequences will, if you're like me, out of your chair... this one brings a tear to my eyes even now

As good as DS9 is, Babylon 5 is still the best science fiction series ever made. Nothing else comes close.

Strangely, and not for the first time I agree with Chumbles so, maybe not so strange B5 Wonderful after S1, the last season was not so good because JMS was told to wrap everything up in S4 Farscape: Firefly, wonderful and worryingly I saw Empire Strikes Back 10 time at the Dominion, Tottenham Court Road I also saw all 3 SW films at the Leicester Square Theatre one after the other a week after RoftJ came out, front row in the middle I also love the new films <edit> Should that be a semicolon? I never know.

What's the 'box view on the Battlestar Galactica reboot? I enjoyed what I saw of it before it was taken off of Netflix.
I also need to get back to the Expanse.
