RIP in peace, Amipal. Not to make this super awkward, but I did spend yesterday evening in the hospital hooked up to a heart monitor... I'd been having heart palpitations for a couple of hours on and off. Didn't actually stop for another six hours on top of that. I did get some sandwiches at midnight though, that was novel. |

Thanks all, and don't worry about it Tuffers! There were some interesting characters in A&E last night that fell into three distinct groups: those of no-fixed-abode, the elderly, and Kemp Town festival casualties. My bed was wheeled next to a man from the first group. He had an amazing tan, and had a black beany hat an despite the heat. He also smelt quite a bit. When he was asked if he'd had a drink, his answer of "only a tiny bit" sounded to my ears like a massive lie. Oh, and the fuzz also brought in a shirtless 20-something lad who looked a bit punchy. They had to photograph some injuries on him. The police then stood next to his bed for the duration of the evening poking around on their mobiles. |
