Apropos nothing in particular, here is a succinct review of the new Godzilla film.

But back to Beryl and Minnie. Rebellion, the 2000AD publisher have been slowly buying up all the rights to old British comics - they had a Cor special out recently, but also Misty and Jinty too. Dennis the Menace belongs in an isocube

Dennis died and was reanimated by sabbat in Judgement Day, so escaped an isocube.

I just saw the trailer for Dragon Quest Walk which is like Pokémon Go only with, you guessed it, Dragon Quest. I have no interest in mobile games but I'll be damned if that isn't one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Yes, I'm easily entertained.

I'll probably have a bash at this, assuming it comes to the west. I played Pokemon Go for a while but my phone was too old so there was no AR, it did make me actually go outside occasionally

Not too difficult for me. In my room I lay Waiting for a district nurse. I listen to birds.

The bins are full in the North, the bins are full in the South; they are full in the East and in the West. But they are also on the kerb, so that's that done.
Chili con carne for dinner and more DQ for gaming. This game is extraordinarily bad at telling you when you need to go back in time and do something else. Having seemingly hit another dead end I suspect that this isn't the last word on the herbal love quadrangle. It would be too sad and frustrating. Also went back and sorted the desert folk a bit more by talking sense into the idiotic archaeologist who strongly reminds me of some colleagues. Now training Ruff as a thief.

I'm going to apologise* in advance for this. Soz.
*hahaa
But isn't 95% of poetry just some bollocks written by someone in a cravat who didn't make the grade in story telling/paintings/sculpture, with endless income to boot. And a shit beard**.
**I too have a beard, for full disclosure.

Thank you to you and Pengpeep, it was indeed - I love the haiku form, and find it really difficult to write one I'm OK with. But like Tuffers I'm hypercritical of poetry only a couple of percent max of my stuff ever gets shown to anyone else. I love Blake and of other poets I tend to only like some of their stuff. Take Wordsworth ...Tintern Abbey is a great poem (although highly structured prose feels a more accurate descriptions). However, I despise the claptrap output he patronizingly called poetry in the tongue of the Common Man... The stricture of metre and adherence lead to this abomination: "That evermore his teeth they chatter, Chatter, chatter, chatter still."Poetry for me is bound up in a dynamic between structure, imagery and meaning and the wonder of Haiku for me is the power of the third, dissonant line... Trouble is, it's hard to write about without coming across as a pretentious prick.. I write a Haiku To say lots of things to you. Damn! I stubbed my toe.
