Final day of the child's sports week. Mrs Crank is off work so my usual Friday routine* will be messed up a bit.
TV. Final Line of duty. Mrs C called it ages ago.
Games. Few races of MK with tenthen and then up too late Divisioning 1. Got another shield and another exotic gun.
*Putting on the PS4/switch for 20mins before hoovering and then going "oh fuck" an hour later.

Crank I only tried the opening bit of Division 2 as my brother was meant to join me but his download was taking ages. I will try it a bit more over the weekend, it certainly looks impressive graphically.
We ended up playing PUBG and we took out one duo on Sanhok but that was as good as it got for us and we largely would land in an isolated place and sneak in to the top 20 before being taken out by the first duo we came across.
Not looking good for Download this weekend. Still raining here.

I went to one festival and it was so fucking awful I vowed never to go again - my friends were incessantly asking me whether I thought it was as wonderful as they did. As though trudging around a mudbath, suffering constipation (put my arse on one of those shitpits? Piss off), avoiding the potheads and potholes strewn around like some arcane obstacle course should be the apogee of my terrestrial existence... Don't you feel the vibes? You mean that ear-splitting cacophony masquerading as music; amped up to overcome the baying of the mindless hordes.  I said I was ill, made my dry way home (all the locals were sensibly shut) desperate for a pint, a shower, a dump in peace and quiet and then a kip on a bed... very rock and roll. |

My Glastonbury experience was as Chumbles described above. It was 2007 and rained heavily and basically became a mud bath. None of my friends managed to get tickets either, it was just me and the Mrs Fark of that period so I was on best behavior. Dreadful.

Today is my Friday, I think. How about that rain yesterday? It rained. I got very very wet.
Games - I've always disliked the idea of Crypt of the Necrodancer, but the Zelda version looks too good to ignore. I downloaded the demo of the original to give it a try and its actually really quite good. Bought the original on Switch since its on sale for around £4, which seems too good to pass up on. Will definitely get the Zelda version at some point too.

The times I’ve been to Glastonbury it’s been great. Not too hot, not too cold, plenty of sun, not too uptight security and I saw Bowie one year. Four stars. Fun boasting.
