I feel for Kane. The number of people that were on ESA then got moved to UC last year was silly. Then the fact they made people with SDP payments move to it then realised how worse of it made them so changed the rules. Also making 64 year old claim UC for two years is beyond stupid. UC is absolutly terrible. Ever met someone who had their housing payments stopped but wasnt told, then had to claim UC which is rarely back dated? or 65 yr old who's never used a computer. I concur UC more like the United Culling industry (or Mr.Tiddles area of expertise)!

Father's Day; 2 cards, 9 craft ales, a glass, a pair of socks and a bottle of Tanqueray gin *
Not a bad haul.
* And a £10 voucher I'll never use because it requires me spending £36 plus postage on overpriced craft ales

So.. How bout them games huh? It the slow period when cames are not released. FF7 around the corner, Cyberpunk. Next year will be like 1998. I'm going to madly save for an Xbox (X) DBH and CP looking good as well as Halo all making up for lost time by saturating myself in Star Trek all. signing off now Happy Daddies all.

Taking into account outgoings: Hben, Ctax, Internet, Mobile Phone, Water, Electric, Insurances, personal outgoings: Netflix, Amazon, Food bill, Total left per week: £1.24 That may take some time.

They will set up an email address (you have to have one) and they will create the UC account. They don't help with journal upkeep though.

Cancel Netflix & Amazon. Get a $5 p/m seedbox. Ten quid a month towards the bone.

We refer folk to CAB now for UC advice. They'll come to the library if there isn't a cab place in your local town. Assuming of course there is still a library in your local town.

McPlop: most folk who are housebound use Amazon not only for the video service, but also free delivery and the music that is bundled in. My membership is more than paid for by the free delivery. lonewolf and Ozymandias Kane: thank you for the information and advice which I will probably read later in the week. Following nurse's visit too unwell.

The milk frother on my new coffee machine is great. The mechanism that holds the coffee in the sump on the other hand not so. It has a stupid spring thing. So you either fire fresh coffee all over the kitchen trying to get it in, or wet grounds trying to get it out. Magical.

Hi!
I too got some nice father's day beers gifted, which included Gamma Ray. AND something to drink them from. A brilliant Darth Vader 'I am your Father' novelty mug. It is the best. It made me happy. I'm sure it's one of a kind. The only one ever made.

You want to hear more about the Collection of Mana?? Yes. Yes I do. Is it the remaster, or the original version? All three as they were created, including the first one in Game Boy green. It is glorious. I also read an interview with the producer of the series and he revealed that the developers only found out that there had been an unofficial English fan translation of Seiken Densetsu 3 when they finally started localising it after all these years. I find this utterly charming and clueless at the same time. The decision to bring the collection to the west was only made because the western branch of Square Enix suggested that it would be a good idea.

Games?
Yes! This morning we obtained the paraglider in zelda. We got to the shrine in the cold area just in time before the chilli and pigeon stew wore off. It opened up things, just a little bit.
Completed another shrine, then I left the younglings in charge whilst I took my father's day afternoon nap treat.
The younglings spent the next two hours in the same place, basically just trading stuff for rupees with some tradesman, then buying his other stuff back. Tremendous.

You should be pleased, that kind of economic literacy might be an early sign of suitability for a ministerial government job.

Loving the miners leader.

LoanWilf, back with a vengeance. New job fills alot of time and there are people there I actually communicate with outside of work. Being made redundant was the best thing ever. Sadly it means the peeps who got me through the working day before (the chatterbox) gets a bit neglected.
