I don't mind dying at the hands of younglings, I don't mind the lost loot (ok, I do - but it's the game), I don't mind the fact that he's better and has better guns/gear.
It's the dancing shit for his 25 YouTube followers. I'm annoyed it annoys me as he's doing it to annoy me.

I was tempted to bemoan the lack of 'From Dusk til Dawn' in the top 20, but on consideration they were more vampire than zombie.

I think I've posted before about this.
But I'll repeat it anyway.
An acquaintance and I had the same Sony phone a few years ago. When you setup your ringtone etc there was an option to attach it to the .vcf file.
He Bluetooth'd me his new number and unknown to me over came the ringtone for when he rang/txt'd.
His choice of ringtone was the 'pussy speech' from Dusk to Dawn. He txt'd me when I was on a bus. New phone, couldn't work to adjust the volume. End up pulling the battery.

This morning the postwoman delivered my copy of Mario Maker 2, or, as she called it "a nice big parcel". The size of the parcel took me completely by surprise. Turns out that the pad of graph paper for drawing Mario courses is enormous, complete with carpenter's pencil and pencil sharpener. I thought it would be a token notepad. We'll see whether I need it for my ingenious courses. Also comes with a nice little Mario-themed stylus for the Switch and a pretty steel book.
What I haven't quite figured out yet is where my year-long online subscription service that is supposed to be included is hiding, which was the reason why I paid a tenner more to get all this stuff. A good deal, considering that it's otherwise 18 quid. Maybe it's on the cartridge.
Btw, the Link's Awakening special edition I was lucky enough to secure yesterday? Sold out in just over an hour. Ebay is full of them, if one's willing to pay at least £50 more. Which I'm not. Why can't they make enough of the darn things?

In answer to my question about the subscription service, I just got an apologetic email from Nintendo saying that "due to unforeseen circumstances" they had sent me the standard edition of the game without it and here's the code. Phew! |

Ottm: I've been for a very long bike ride in the sun with no suncream; not enough water and fueled by too many dry roasted peanuts; and a companion who spent several hours telling me about all the bad murders he's seen (he is a copper). Horrific fever dreams tonight guaranteed.

I think copies of the console versions are going dirt cheap now too, like £5 or so. |
