What are the cats drinking? Glass of Mewrlot. Let's see whether Destry can get them to pay for the round, though.

I wasn't planning on going, but they have a flight stimulator. I wonder if scubar will be in attendance? Sick filth! It's "two consenting adults in private"; I know that the Armed forces have opened admittance to the LGTB (oops, I think that's the Local Government Training Board*, not them, the other ones) community, but really " flight stimulator"? What sort of multi role aircraft are we getting nowadays? Easily the best and funniest SF piss-take - Galaxy Quest
*Not a lot of people know that I am an accredited LGTB Training Advisor

You train people to be LGBT or is it just so everyone can turn you down as saying they are otherwise inclined?

I keep getting emails from Facebook encouraging me to "join groups to connect to people who share your interests". Suggestions include "items for sale in and around Staffordshire", the "Cockapoo Owners Club (UK)" and, more worrying, the "Bad Dad Jokes" and "Saucy & Risque Seaside Postcard" groups.
I blame Nick Clegg (and my activity here?!).

That aside, I would worry more about the Staffordshire connection.

So, I had 2 options today.
A) To go to Armed Forces Day. B) Stay in the shade, air-con my arse off and drink some plonk.

Wayfair.
Wayfair, Wayfair, Wayfair...
I ordered a desk. The website said it would be delivered at the start of June. Turns out this meant when it would be delivered to their warehouse by that date.
I then was supposed to have it delivered a couple of weeks ago, only for the delivery van to "break down"*.
Eventually, it got delivered yesterday, and this afternoon I finally got around to opening the very heavy box... and it's the wrong fucking desk**.
I've now gone through the returns process, where they have to review my evidence prior to agreeing to a return.
*I have my doubts here, because it was a very nice Friday afternoon in Brighton, and they'd come down from deepest darkest Kent.
**I expect Shenguin's got mine.

Aww, this time two weeks ago I was in Frascati. Now I'm stuck in a dull office in fucking Stockton, watching some shite video on rubbish game covers (Chucky Egg 2 will haunt my dreams). Thanks Tent hen.
Oh, that reminds me, when they update the Google Street View images I might actually be in a Frascati one. The car went past whilst I was walking back from town. Exciting stuff.

I hope you are getting paid for this. (see edit) Edit: What sorcery is this? Crank's and Tiddles's ProBoards advertisements have suddenly turned into lovely music videos? I think the spam is getting to me.

Loving Spoonful every time... Second LP I bought at the tender age of 15. I was learning to play my terrible, lethal guitar at that time*. Slightly more embarrassing was my first purchase. Wild Thing - The Troggs... um...
*Mentioned because 'playing' it I learned so many bad habits ... a steel strung acoustic bought at a jumble sale... the neck was so warped that the distance from the fretboard at the body of the strings to the frets was 3/8ths of an inch. I had callouses on my left hand finger ends so thick, I could sew thread through them. Doing a slide was a very dangerous thing as get my barre finger with the joint across a string, I'd end up with a massive bandage around it. After 2 years of patching me up my parents realised it wasn't a fad and helped me buy a decent one!

Spot of rain and it's really windy now.
Leftover Chinese and too much beer. Jessica Jones and Black Summer on the telly. I also got killed by a cheater at PUBG.
