I see Sony have withdrawn PES 2019 from its PS plus offering, replacing it with Detroit Become Human.

If you own PES2019 you can order the online PES 2020 with a 10% discount.
I presume that Konami don't want to give a 10% discount to everyone. Though I suspect that they would make more £ doing that.

It is a typical Konami balls up.
I they put a tiny bit of love into PES they could sell far more copies.
Their customer experience is typically poor.

I have bought it every year since it launched except for the 2006 version so I have lots of experience of poor customer service from Konami.
Highlights include, but are not limited to
The menu system that randomly hides options. Regularly revised to confuse experienced players
Teleporting players PES 2008
Broken penalties 2009 - 2012. You had to roll the ball as close to the centre as you could. Anything else resulted in a wild hack over the bar
Pes Communities - you could not edit results so a poor connection would result in a random 3-0 win or defeat
Removing PES communities just when they had got them to work reasonably well

Reading the story, and shedding a tear or so, in the Guardian reminded me of a similar one for Mats Steen in WOW posted earlier this year, it's a long read and will be emotional but it does redeem my faith in humanity, just a bit mind. |
