"...at least as good as Birmingham." Now that is a slogan! To be clear, this implies no cheap value judgement on my part as I have never been to Birmingham. Consequently, it holds a kind of Shangri-La esque place in my imagination.

I've only been to the brum bus station to change bus to/from Bristol.
Glasgow to Bristol by coach *shudder* Though not as bad as Glasgow to Perpignan I did when I was 16.

A place of beauty these days. Well less awful than before the refurb anyway. It used to be the ideal spot if you wanted to get high on diesel fumes. The bus station itself is long gone. A place of wonder*. On station street**, opposite the Electric Cinema, underneath the Pallasades (There was a tremendously lonely double escalator up to the shopping centre. The sort of place muggers didn't hang round as you don't get passers by). It was exhaust smoke coloured and made the old coach station look glamorous *As In I wonder who on earth thought this was a good idea.

** Which finally has an entrance to New St Station. For decades you could not enter the station from Station Street. There were entrances on Hill Street, Stephenson Street Smallbrook Ringway, sort of on New St, but not on Station Street.

I've wanted a nuc for the back of the telly for ages. Kodi/Plex/emulation etc. Got an Nvidia Shield TV box a few years ago instead.
They are great wee things the nuc boxes. I'd imagine with the 10nm chips they'll be much more efficient. Will watch that video later, ta.

Cheese and tomato sandwich. Morning, Fasting for lunch, just a bag of McCoys man crisps Bacon flavour. I might eat later on as I have to try the new hoover bags in the companions JMB 800W upright (1990's). After a long safari through the internet (3 hours) I finally found out which bags were compatible with it and have purchased 2 types for testing - set of 5 in each - less than £10 for the lot on Amazon. For those that need to or know someone that might, the bag code is VB0919 and the compatible is either E82 or U82, I think the E82 is more compatible for uprights in general. Tv - still binging TNG up to S6 E22 that's all, I have to run away now and lurk in the background for a while. Nice to know amipal is on the mend and the apocalypse is on hold. Peace.

Mini PCs eh? I absolutely don’t need one of those to run Elite. The PS4 is perfectly adequate. It’s fine. No need at all. Pointless even looking at them.

I once went on a coach trip from vientiane laos, to Hanoi in Vietnam.
Worst journey of my life. Took over 24 hours, due to an unforeseen search by Vietnamese police and a "breakdown" on the motorway, 10 miles from the city where conveniently there were several cabs waiting.
Some Scouse girl absolutely lost her shit and within minutes the terrified bus staff had magically got the bus working again.

I now want one The best tech site* *Apart from Amipal of course. It may be the morphine, it may be the pain, but so do I. (Want one) I have no conceivable use for it, but I have the same reaction as norms do to fluffy kittens. It is so cute. I think the reviewer is stunning (Want one) - that certainly is the morphine, the pain, but smart women Ii always find attractive.

Some Scouse girl absolutely lost her shit and within minutes the terrified bus staff had magically got the bus working again. I first read this as a scouse girl lost her shirt within minutes and you therefore had an awkward/magical car ride for 24 hours.

I once travelled on the London Underground for a 30 minute journey with two children, whom I was partially responsible for.
24 hours across Laos and Vietnam, cavity searches, attempted cons, and shouty Scouse women sound like a breeze.

1/3 Margherita pizza. 2 X hot dogs.
Forgot to nick ketchup from the service station BK yesterday so the dogs were pretty dry.
Just been to the pool.

I had a burrito at lunch, made up of the bits I'd done for my burrito for yesterday's dinner.
Roasted peppers, pico de gallo (however you spell it), beans, yoghurt, rice, salsa, and some chicken. It was delicious.

Disappointing battered sausage and chips with curry sauce. Nowhere near the usual amount of chips. Brexit now!

Could have done with some jalapeños for some heat and saltiness, mind.
And some coriander leaf.
And a bit more yoghurt.
But other than that... 4*
