Last day of our holiday today as we're heading home tomorrow.
Been at an outdoor pool today. Caught the sun.
Despite my grumblings at the start of the week we've had great weather on the whole.
Games. Explaining about mortgages to the child with regards to Animal Crossing and making her house bigger.
TV. Big little lies and some Gomorrah when Mrs Crank went to bed.

Back from expedition to city centre to have a late lunch/early dinner with sister-in-law in an "authentic" Lebanese restaurant. Mr Tent Rooster would have asked for his money back as nobody knew Arabic but he wasn't paying. Asked some other random customers whether they knew Arabic. They didn't. Food okay, now the proud owner of a tiny Lebanese flag on a small wooden flagpole that held my lamb and halloumi burger in place.
On the way into the city centre we drove past Edgbaston Cricket Ground where England was behind at the time. As we went past we sent out some strong positive vibes to the England team. So you know whom to thank.

Back from my Creative Arts Summer Show Private View at which three of my works were proudly displayed, amongst dozens of others, in a cramped room in Croydon Clocktower for the delight and delectation of the Croydon art-loving public. Public viewing this coming weekend only. Catch it while you can.
Light refreshments (crisps and lemonade) were provided. So proud.
After 10 minutes we retired to the pub for proper refreshments.

Wahaca. Tasty, delicious Wahaca. I had some duck and sweet potato ball things with a very nice smoked sauce. I then had a beef brisket burrito (all the Bs) - and it was elevated to plains never before tasted by the addition of said smoked sauce.
