Had a few beers out last night so no games, telly or OTTM.

Morning everyone. I managed two ganes of Fortnite. One poor 48th place when someone shot at me and I totally panicked and changed weapons instead of firing, which didn't make much difference as I was aiming at them anyway. One 8th place with 2 kills, which might have been better if I hadn't panicked in my third fight.

I went to Bristol recently. Kept it quiet, avoided the bees.
I can recommend the memorial ground in Horfield. Good for sunburn.

Gamesblog - nah.
TVblog - just some Sugar Rush on Netflix. It passes the time
OTTM - had to get the boy up at 1am and 5am for additional puffs as part of his treatment. He handled it all remarkably well.
Me? Less so. So tired.

I need to harvest the apples from the neighbours tree that overhangs my garden.
Been considering a cider press.
Just out of the dentist, and have a numb mouth. My bottle of water has gone down my shirt rather than my throat.

Having been brought up in a very boring rural area but in a house with a lot of books, including the Oxford Book of English Verse (QC Ed, of course), I knew that quite well as a kid. Obviously I’d never seen the film, but the line about farting bucks amused me no end. In hindsight this was probably quite disconcerting to godly folk. Brought up in the old ways. Later on In life old boss was one of the deranged locals in the original. Nice guy. Threw good shindigs. |
