Shenguin: that would be a project and not one I would fuck up stoop to - I would hire an artisan to do that task. I have to keep my chamber clear of dust, so they would take it away and take forever to do it... That picture was for illustrative purpose only... crankcaller: Interesting; I got to Assistant Borough Librarian when I was 31, but jumped ship to the private sector where I lost flexitime, 4 weeks holiday, 36 hr week became 50-90 hrs. for the rest of my working life, but got a £1k rise from £14k, and no more meetings with moronic, corrupt tory and labour councillors... As ABL 25% of my time was meetings with these mostly loathsome creatures and I was already being asked why I wasn't applying for Borough or County Librarian where the role would involve at least 50% of my working life with those insects... But although materially I am much much worse off, I've always had interesting if demanding jobs right up until this bloody concatenation of illnesses fucked my life up. I bet you absolutely hate, as do I:  I got 15 minutes into s1e1 of the boxset before feeling ill. I contemplate giving it away, but why should I inflict this garbage on someone else. I don't dislike anyone that much*. Oh we1l, back on my head... *not even you.

I suppose it could work if you had one of those big jacuzzi style baths. Ours is quite deep so no one would be able to see what you were doing, and then what is even the point of leaving the door open? |

Wouldn't the jets and bubbles just break the stool down into tiny particles and circulate them round the tub? For me, that would be worse. |

It is a basketcase. No strap, slightly scratched face and I'll be buggered if I can get the back off to replace the battery and check if it still powers up.* I'll have a go later. I don't have a watch. I do have a newfangled device called a mobile phone that I carry with me and that functions as a clock. I also have very lovely wrists.

Watchblog. I have a a Mondaine Swiss railway watch. Small face for my childlike wrists & hands. I have classic Casio P91w original. hasn't let me down yet. I also have a world time version but the frame has broken, I'm on the look out for a new one but they seem to be as rare as hens teeth. OTTM: I binged this weekend on all Alien/Pred/AvPs. Saturday was Alien day, the only one I missed was Prometheus. Sunday was Predator day, including the new one. I have to say it wasn't bad at all, jumps when you think you're safe good action/fight scenes 4* I finished off on Monday with AvP, they definitely need to make another one. All said and done I'm not disappointed. overall 3.8* Also did the Wu assassins thing on Netfix, you can't go wrong with Raid meets Mutants Asian style! |
