I love playing XCom2 but it's literally impossible. Each mission is 4 vs 10, the aliens then get reinforcements, and your guys miss shots when pointing their guns straight in the enemy's face. Enemy units have twice as many hit points as your guys. Every mission you fail makes the next one even harder. I fucking hate the bastard thing.

I done substantial drinkings last night. I now feel fucking awful. I have a hazy recollection of arguing with a stranger about which constellation was orions belt. I have no idea why.

Morning all. TVblog - some Chef and My Fridge. There are so many recipes I'd like to try, but it was necessitate ordering some very specialised Korean ingredients. Gamesblog - nah... OTTM - went to Birling Gap (you heard me) last night for a spot of astrophotography. I was joined by a mate who was shooting with his new Huawie smartphone. I haven't processed my images yet, but I have to say that his are rather impressive. Sure, you'll get better quality from a large sensor, but the fact you can do this with a mobile phone in the first place is definitely something. |

Not my shots, and I'm not going to get into the technicalities of the shots, just impressed that a phone camera can achieve it in the first place! We're already starting to see computational photography entering the proper camera market, what with EyeAF and Olympus having their machine-learning driven autofocus-tracking system. |

OTTM: can one of you fine persons** recommend a good whitener for my shirts? otherwise just chillin' |
