Friday's 'box, today. (Unlike Keef, I don't have the benefit of auto set-up)
EDIT: But if I did have, at least I'd get it right!

"Working" from home today. Saw the last Punisher episode, great series but I hope they leave it at one season all the same. Also saw episode 3 of American Gods, there was a prolonged gay love scene, kinda glad I didn't watch that in the train as it was a bit full on. The Amazon Prime downloads magically work now.

Back to work with a marathon two day training course. I’ve also just noticed that all the taps at work have individual barcodes. Bit odd.

Friday is my Friday. Genuinely no idea how I will cope with a 5 day week next week. Hold me.
We went to see Blade of the Immortal at the little avant garde cinema in Northampton last night. Total exposition to introduce you to the setting and characters ~ 2 minutes. Total bodycount ~1000 Is it a great film? No. Is it even a good film? Not really. But its an entertaining 2 hours of people being gratuitously sliced to shreds and theres the standard "samurai with a basket for a hat" thing going on, which I'm all for. ☆☆☆☆

Morning!
Bit more Yakuza. Continuing mopping up side quests and doing the Real Estate bit as Kiryu. Managed my best score on Outrun, unfortunately it was still ~200,000 less than the Electronic King, meaning I lost 10% of my properties. Bastard. Still, I've started work on the Pleasure Kings turf so the cash is rolling in easy enough. Anyone know where you're supposed to fish as Kiryu? There's a sushi guy asking for fresh fish but I can't seem to find any water, had to resort to buying them from the shady guy so far.
TV wise we watched the first McMafia. Seems ok so far, we'll likely stick with it.
Anyone else feel like it should be 5pm already? Pretty sure I've been in work 8.5 hours and all the clocks are lying to me. My God, I'm thirsty.

Morning, has monster hunter pump gone down like the Hindenburg? Looking for a new RPG and red dead seems a long way off, any recommendations? Is cex or game better for trading in games?

If you can be arsed, check completed listings on ebay and set it buy it now for close to the highest price a used copy has went for recently. I learned that method from a guy who had a business selling games on ebay. It can take a little time but they sell. I got £25 for GTAV on PS4 before christmas and £500 in total for my Wii U, 3DS, a couple of peripherals and about 12 games in total. Decent. That is, if you can be arsed.

Morning. No games but watched The Hairy Bikers Tour of the Mediterranean last night. I like the Hairy Bikers but I wish the big one wouldn't say 'dude' so much. It doesn't sound right in Geordie, really kills the immersion.

enjoyed American Gods but sometimes it was a bit OTT with the elaborate shots. Character X is opening a door, cue a 5 minute tripfest where you see the inside of the lock with weird lighting and someone sat in a room on a chair talking about his mother.
You've got Odin running around with a chap from Hollyoaks, 6th form media project isn't where you need to be. Open the bleeding door.

I'm sure you can get a taxi out to like a dock or something like that. That, or there's certain spots near the wee bits of water running through the city that you can fish.

Thanks, I'll try the taxi (never used one except when part of the story, early on). There is no water running through Kiryu's part of the city though, that's in Majima's town. Unless I'm incredibly dense and blind, which is very possible.

Today is my Friday, so I'm in work and then going home to shove all of the Christmas shite in the loft.
Some Stardew Valley, more Winter. I'm in the process of making wine and buying salads to woo Leah.
Apparently it's her birthday on the 23rd, so all a countdown until then.
In the meantime, I've been exploring the mines and have managed to upgrade most of my tools to gold in the first year and stockpiling seeds and stuff for summer.
It's great.
(Help me)

games chat Last night I got the thieves armour, nooice. Seem to remember that dragon spawning becomes more frequent as you level up, normally it's tedious (enjoying a nice wander and that warning music starts up). Last night i was getting dealt quite a shoeing until the dragon turned up and started killing the bandits who'd set upon me. Silver linings and all that.

Morning
Christmas Tree undecorated, dismantled, and reboxed; cards de-glittered and recycled; LED penguins de-batteried and reboxed.
The holidays are over.

You need to choose your train seat carefullyfor such happenings. I get on at the first stop and don't tend to have the tAblet on the table if there's a chance of nudity. How's the hand?
I'm off into town for lunch with Mrs Crank as she is off till Monday and has a voucher for food for somewhere.
Games. Mostly modern warfare reboot. Grinding for better sights etc. It is fun when you want a quick 15 mins kill fest.

Games: reached the last shrine of Urbosa's challenge but didn't have time to finish it. Successfully completed the Yiga Clan stealth section, but the sodding bananas were no use. Instead I just stealthed my way through, grabbed what I needed and ambled out of the door with it, hoping that no-one would stop me. Fortunately no-one did, and I was rewarded with my new favourite shrine; you come in and see the motion control contraption and think "oh no, not that again" and then you are stumped because you don't know what to do... until the penny drops.
Tv: episode 4 of Stranger Things. It's good, still can't see what all the hype is about, but great performances all round, particularly the children.

According to Trump having a burger for lunch is the only way to avoid being poisoned. Tips on how to produce radioactive gherkins now trending amongst would-be assassins?

Games question, who inverts the up/down on their controller? I do as it seems more natural to push forward to look down and pull back to look up

According to Trump having a burger for lunch is the only way to avoid being poisoned. International assasin Ronald McDonald will still get him. His poison vector is just time delayed over several decades.

Yo Sushi blue plate sale. I made a bit of a pig of myself.
I would assume the controller would do that while flying but not doing anything else. Maybe I should try it.
Maybe THATS why I'm rubbish and it would be some eureka moment and I'd turn pro*
