You people, this place.
Morning all.
I have had a great success with my Amiga shenanigans, and am now able to reliably run games from the SD card. This is BIG NEWS.
Other than that, finished the second part of Disenchantment. Might not be as good as The Simpsons or Futurama, but still good fun. Oh, and some Hairy Bikers eating across the US of A thing.

Hello,
I’m not reading all that. Today is my first day of a new job. Can I go home yet?

It is good to see I have trained everyone to see you as the office junior. I don't use alternate log ins. If I have something appalling to say I'd like it to be under my regular pseudonym.

Quite chilly here and the preferred mammal doesn't believe in turning the heat on before the clocks go back, frugal and careful are words that can be applied. And also illogical. Heating on / off should only ever be determined by the temperature inside the domicile. If it's less than your preferred temperature, turn the chuffing heating on.

I'd employ the Rambozo method to achieve the desired results.

You're all wrong, except for Felice's Preferred Mammal. Put a jumper on and stop whining about the cold, you soft berks. You're all responsible for fucking the climate. The heating can go if 1) it's after the clocks have changed, AND 2) I say it's sufficiently cold to require it.
I'm not allowed to enforce this in my own home, but I'm dammed if anyone is switching the heating on in the 'Box yet.

The heating should only go on when extra jumpers, blankets and the sofa duvet fail to stop icicles forming when breathing. Men up frozen pants.

I've levelled up the heating with three new radiators which are double the size of the ones they replaced. Can't wait for the cold snap so I can give them a whirl.

Our heating comes on if the temperature drops below a certain level because I don't live like some kind of dribbling cave man.

The best way to ensure against a cold snap is to drink plenty of antifreeze or 'booze' as the kids call it round here.

Heating chat, eh? My thermostat is now 2 hours off the correct time with no way to adjust it and refuses to believe that temperature changes of less than 2 degrees in any direction are capable of existence.
Feta and watercress risotto.

Heat chat - we live in the midst of a building, with others flats above and below. As such we barely ever need to turn the heating on.

If you're starting to think it's a little chilly indoors, then maybe you need to invest in some insulation.
For the house, I mean. Do not take this as a cue to start gorging.

Quite chilly here and the preferred mammal doesn't believe in turning the heat on before the clocks go back, frugal and careful are words that can be applied. It's out of concern for you. As I pointed out a few days ago, as soon as the central heating comes on the eight-legged friends come in and get all frisky because they think that spring has sprung and it's time to find a mate who will devour them. Since you aren't a fan of Ol' Eight Eyes leaving the heating off is in your own best interest.
