Stop...! Stop...! It's already dead!
Lunch: Waitrose sushi. The rice wasn't firm enough, resulting in a number of nigiri falling apart as they were lifted to my gaping maw. 4*

So I was out celebrating my 18th birthday a month before Sheep2 (or should that be Lamb2) was even born? Unbelievable Jeff. That would mean you were born closer to the Battle of Wounded Knee than to the current day. Weird. And Sheeps, had you realised that The Usual Suspects was released over half of your lifetime ago?

The greatest trick shenguin ever pulled was convincing Sheep2 that the Usual Suspects was released over half his lifetime ago.

That's a hell of a way to look at it. I was born nearer the Wall Street Crash than today.
At least i am not as old as sheep.

This morning I came downstairs to find that the fluorescent tube light in the kitchen had packed in. In my great and unmatched even by Donald Trump wisdom I had ordered two LED tubes as replacements several moons ago. But I couldn't get it to work and called the electrician.
He came and realised that some rewiring was required for the switch to LED. Did that and put the new tube in. Nothing happened (apart from tripping the fuse). He took a closer look and realised that it was faulty.
No problem I said. I've got a second one.
Took it out of the packaging and realised immediately that that one was faulty, too.
Brexit now.
(These tubes are made in China. At least I can amuse myself reading the extremely entertaining instruction leaflet, both in English and German, although I must say that the German version is funnier.)
Had to wait for him to come back with his own tube, but it's working now. I was tactfully averting my eyes when I realised that he was a fan of the saggy trousers look and I got full view of his colourful underpants (turquoise, with some kind of pattern). An ill-advised fashion choice for a profession where one frequently has to work on a ladder, with people's line of sight roughly at crotch-height.

Now finally able to get lunch: vegetarian tom yum soup, goat cheese sandwich to take away the heat. Pinnacle of fusion cuisine.

Thank you people
I am immensely proud(?)* of these awful puns.
* Well something
I have been to the HMV Vault the largest entertainment store in Europe.
It is surprisingly ok.
It's probably a bit smaller in effect than the old HMV Pavilions store. This is because it is laid out with wide aisles. It's difficult to tell precisely as that had three small and two medium sized floors It's significantly smaller than the old Oxford St store.
It probably has more vinyl records than either which suits a well trendy sheep. However many of them were ambitiously priced.
On the other hand it had a decent range of CDs many of them moderately priced.
I will definitely return reasonably often, but I fear the convenience and larger catalogueof Amazon will attract me more
