I have to copy a 160MB file from our office in India to our office in Solihull. Didn't know the fake MS virus folk had offices in Solihull. You live and learn. Hello. I'm tired. I've just had a swig of Irn-Bru and can't wait for the Xmas proper stuff. The taste of sweetener is overwhelming now. I realise part of the reason I'm tired is I've had no coffee today. Machine on! I'm enjoying the space shooty bang bang rpg game pump. I had no interest or intention but I'm piqued. As we had to buy a new washing machine the other night I'll be waiting on a price cut. Does it have giant space cockroaches? The trailer showed monsters which is fine... just nae roaches. |

I'm a perfectly able looking lady who's happy to help others with their suitcases and who doesn't expect anyone to take her suitcase down for her when stepping off a train. People do it anyway.
Ganes: Finished Link's Awakening. I'm missing one chamberstone from the Rapids Race and I haven't done the last three or so of Dampé's challenges but the deadline for the charity stream is looming and I've got to produce some decent Mario Maker 2 courses. Cannot allow myself to be sidetracked by Obra Dinn.
Sometimes gaming is hard work.
Teevee: Watched the extended version of HIGNFY last night with Rachel Johnson being quite touchy about her brother's shenanigans. Going on a news comedy show in order to get away from it all maybe wasn't the best plan?
OTTM: Took part in the general hilarity on the interwebs apropos Bethesda's new $100/£100 per annum Fallout 76 fraud scheme. Particularly funny to find this now being contrasted with Outer Worlds. Not a dry seat in the house.

Lady suitcase helping anecdote incoming in three....two....one
So for my 40th a mate and I went to NYC, used the subway a fair bit and one day this young woman (late teens / early twenties) was lugging this suitcase along in our general direction and clearly struggling. Being the strapping guy I am and generally nice I offered to carry it for her - cue me trying to move this suitcase and having the exact same amount of success as said woman. Cue my mate who is 6'5" and a lot stronger pishing himself laughing at the pair of us. My thoughts immediately turned to what on earth have you got in this suitcase that I can't lift (I train, I can leg press 300k, deadlift 200k, etc.) Conclusion - something really heavy.

I often wander round Grand Central station in a wig, with a bit of lippy on.
'Struggling' with a suitcase.
Amazing how often young men offer to dispose of the suitcases containing the bodies.
Just make sure they get fingerprints on the handles and you are good to go.

I don't offer to help with luggage unless they are obviously infirm or have a pram/children.
OTTM. My pal has a job at one of the Glasgow Uni's and is being described on twitter as a 'Hatchetman' which is tickling me no end.

I'm incredibly strong, possibly the strongest. Been able to lift or pick up almost everything Ive ever tried to.
I think my record supermarket carrier bags up two fights of stairs is somewhere between 7 and 9, with varied contents including bottled and canned liquids, chips, butter, cheese and pies as well as lighter things like crisps, chocolate, haribos, crisps and crisps.
