I was waiting at my usual bus stop for the airport bus at 3.40, but it transpires it doesn't stop there until 5.50 am.
Luckily, I noticed in time and am sitting in the departure lounge having just polished off a tub of beans with a poached egg in that cost me a fiver. I choked down every mouthful. 4*

TVblog - South Park.
Filmblog - Mad Max: Fury Road. Bloody love that film. I think I'm more impressed by it each time I watch it.
Amigablog - I was having issues with the colours available on a dual-playfield screen. Turns out that it is a limitation built in to Blitz as a sop to the OCS/ECS Amigas. So I've scrapped the dual-playfield and now have a 32 colour screen working... though will have to come up with another idea for the on-screen menu.

Hey series 2 is very average and I stand by that.

Also, before a long haul flight I suggest something that doesn't cause you gut trouble which for me a full English might. The correct diet is beer and benzos in the correct amounts and ratios so as to have fun and then the sweet release of sleep for 8 hours, but to not kill yourself.

Morning everyone. I am still in the clutches of a potentially fatal acute pulmonary infection and rhinosinusitis. It's fucked my sleeping patterns, and I haven't had a drink in days.
I'm still working, as what's the point in wasting a sick day when you're not well enough to enjoy it?

Charles de Gaulle Airport has me wishing they had segregated terminals for the poor from the rich . All the floorspace is taken up by "luxury" shops, there's not a spoons in sight here... No bars at all, in fact.

OTTM: I had a dream about having to take a selfie with Hitler's corpse. So I saw him walking down Tottenham High Road, ran him over with my car, then double-tapped him with a Luger. I couldn't work out how to take a selfie, so woke up quite stressed.

Charles de Gaulle Airport has me wishing they had segregated terminals for the poor from the rich . All the floorspace is taken up by "luxury" shops, there's not a spoons in sight here... No bars at all, in fact. Looking at their website, it seems they do.... Terminal 1 is Michelin starred etc..... Terminal 2D is some Belgian wrap/sandwich stall.

Not bored of it but the grind to get exotic guns is annoying me. Yes I don't have any.
Looking at gaming laptops as I want to play Forza. I realise an Xbox would be much cheaper but I don't have the room and another console would push Mrs C over the edge. Plus a laptop could be played without needing the telly. Black Friday hopefully will snag me one.

The problem with gaming laptops is your are restricted to certain GPUs ( basically the small ones) and they are much harder to improve over time. |
