Morning all.
Gamesblog - Civ Rev, and I somehow managed to set my capital city to generating gold rather than science for a few hundred years... no wonder the Egyptians were so far ahead in tech.
TVblog - Z Nation, Nailed It, and some YouTube bits.
OTTM - Yesterday, I had my first instance of dicky-ticker since June where I actually had to take medication to stop it. That was fun.

TV? No. After finishing rewatching Justified and Friday night lights, and watching the latest Spiral, need to find something else to stare at for hours and forget about reality.

Interview blog - Came away feeling I'd done really well, got all the way home and then realised when I was asked "what brought you here" it was a reworded "why do you want to work for us... I face-palmed so hard my hand is stuck there permanently. So, an improvement there at least.
Games blog - No games but bought a Switch with Mario Kart and Pokemon Sword yesterday to cushion the blow of the interview. I'm sure it will when it arrives next week.

Morning box, today is my Friday. Which is a shame as I wish it were Saturday. 12 hours yesterday, up at 4am this morning for some reason (no dog, ditched him with the parents late last night) and in work by 7.45. Kill me

OTTM: I have a nice new NEST thermostat that I can control from anywhere with a half decent data signal. Greta is my friend again.

Civ Rev Chat: I had a domination win the other day by 250 ad. The French started it by hemming me in. They paid for that dearly. Then I duffed up all the other nations for good measure. This was on the second hardest skill level. I am a beast. OTTM: I'm waiting for my man.. (the boiler man). |

I made a similar error in the interview for my current job, and didn't realise till one of the panel laughed at me about it a few months later, after I started. I think domination victories may be one of the easier to go for - just rock up to the capitals' coastline in a battleship fleet, land five tank armies, and BOOM. You're done. |
