In Dark Souls 2 there is a character called Carhillion Of The Fold. I'm pretty sure Scubar will appreciate this.
Scubar Hard lines chief. Will you be kept on for a while/ Kept on by the successor contractor?
Good luck with sorting everything out

Yo
No work today. Our entire IT system was FUBAR yesterday, and today is is still SNAFU. I intended to take today off anyway, for two reasons
1: one of the industry regulators is in today and one day I will get found out. Today is not that day.
2: we went for a meal and a late movie and I didn't fancy an early start.
Movie chat: we went to see 3 Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri. What.a.film. I laughed, I cried. A genuinely brilliant film. Sack off work RIGHT NOW and go see it. Wolfy and Scub have the advantage in this regard.

Cockpuppetpsedonym made one fairly inoffensive post, received four likes for it, and his account has been FRANKED. Worrying times. Not my doing. Blaming bloody Destry are we? Cobblers, easy on the spoilers, my DS3 barn door is still in the tortoise's court. Is it good though? I am excited about playing it one day.

You should play Dark Souls first. Otherwise the story won't make sense.

Morning!
Continuing the PS4 Stardew play through. Currently just at the end of Summer. Screwed up my apple tree, by forgetting to plant it until the 25th. Gonna have to rely on even more luck if I want a year one community centre. Have a decent amount in the bank, all iron tools (except for a gold watering can), upgraded coop and the materials necessary to upgrade the barn too. I'll still need to rely on the gypsy for a red cabbage and rabbits foot (assuming I can't get one in the mine) but, all in all, I think I'm in a pretty good place. At the very least I should manage the greenhouse in year one, which is an achievement in itself.
TV wise we caught up with the Gifted, which continues to be decent, a slightly low 4 stars.

Oh, hi!
Last night I ended up in Cafe Rouge and stuffed my face with steak, covered in beef dripping Merlot gravy. It was boodiful.
Then went to see The Last Jedi. Which was enjoyable, but a bit of a mess. THREE STARS.

We’ll be tidying it up ready to hand back to the council then back in the world of job hunting. Think I’m here til the end of the month but who knows?

Is it snowing where anyone else is? Had a steady trickle all day but not much has settled.

No snow here, but I am on the south coast. Freezing out, mind.

It is nice and sunny here. I would quite like to declare a snow day and go home. I'm not sure how convincing that would be

It snowed here for 5 minutes. First time since 2011 as far as I remember. Disappointing.

No snow so far, but it's bin night, and that always brings inclement weather (storms, lightning, hail, tornadoes, blizzards, rain of frogs). The forecast is a bit of snow this evening and tonight.
Last night: Stranger Things 2, more mooching around in the right direction (I can see Eldin Mountain now), steak, garlic and mushrooms for dinner. The small bottle of Glenlivet from Christmas is now, sadly, finished. A sobering thought.
Started taking turns with Mr Enemy reading Fiery Furry.

As far as I'm aware, it hasn't rained frogs in Birmingham since 1954, and that was in Sutton Coldfield, before the 1972 boundary changes, so it doesn't really count as Birmingham.

Hiya! Lovely weather here. My ex is walking my best friend this afternoon, and I can't go, due to the outrageous outrage of actual work. Quite jealous. And outraged.

I had a couple of goes at beating the Cyberdemon in Doom and had my arse kicked both times. Didn't even get his health half way down.

I would definitely declare frog day as a holiday. In fact given that there is no record of a holiday being called for the rain of frogs I should be allowed one for the last rain.
It's raining frogs! Hallelujah!

Scubar Sorry to read your bad news
Shenguin Yesterday you were boasting about posting on chatterbox for 10 years or so. I had no idea you were such an old timer - can you remember any of your previous usernames? I must have been posting about the same length of time, but also under different names: NaughtyByNature, beatemup, fatboy and a few others. None of them lasted long, and I'm always a little surprised that this ID hasn't been blitzed. Sheep has been around a long time, Socky also (and if I remember correctly we all thought Socky was a, er, sock puppet when he first appeared).
