Some shirtless twat* woke half the street up at 7am by repeatedly kicking a shop door over the road and shouting naughty words. Two cop cars, cops with torches looking into gardens. Found bloke, let bloke off with a warning, cops left. Bloke then shinnied up a drainpipe into the stairwell of some flats.
I may still be drunk.
Ah yes, I must remember to e-mail the Chinese Embassy today regarding a specific Chinese watch manufacturer, to see if they're kosher. They'll probably send a delegation round to address Sven's specific concerns.

I thought Mr T's video was a Mandalorian Orchestra ... Like an orchestral version of a Clash gig... a bit of a disappointment; I hate that a breve note gets translated into a million thrums.

Hello all, and a happy new year. Here's to a cracking 2020. I stopped playing DQB2 in order to watch a TNG before the new year, and then saw that it was the episode where Riker has brought a game on board the Enterprise. It is primarily a Wesley episode. Not on New Year's Eve, thanks. So watched a Lost in Space. That finished at five to midnight, so then I channel-surfed for something bearable for the fireworks. Craig David? No thanks. I settled on ITV, which kept jumping between London and Edinburgh. 4* Has gongfarmer been seen since last night's words? Actually, ignore that - I see he was in MrTiddles neck of the woods. |

Happy New Year to all Sabbelkistler. That said, I've never before resented a new year so much from the git-go. Brexit and everything it entails plus having to follow Crank in the completed decade stakes are the reasons for my negative attitude. 2020 has the potential to redeem itself by making Elizabeth Warren US President, sending D. Trump and his brood to gaol and giving me a large amount of money in the lottery. I'm glad that amipal has started DBQ2 and reminded me that I need to get a move on with catching Pokemon so that I can finish my last building project on my Dragon Quest island. |

Incidentally, Crusader Kings 2 is beyond impenetrable. Even on tutorial mode I could not work out what you are supposed to do. Very true to life in that respect, 4 stars.

I'm glad that amipal has started DBQ2 and reminded me that I need to get a move on with catching Pokemon so that I can finish my last building project on my Dragon Quest island. Happy new year! I'm quite enjoying it so far. The farm is growing by the day, but I already feel constraint by how and where I've built things. And now I've run out of grass fibre! I haven't a clue where to look for it. |
