I have been on the phone the entire fucking* morning on the phone a) trying to find out the results of the blood tests and swabs taken nearly 3 weeks ago. Potentially one lot was for an infection in my legs and the other preparing for the Ablation procedure. After an hour I get through: according to the secretary they had the results of the swabs back 10 days ago. But she wasn't able to tell me the results of the swabs - I would have to call again to make an appointment for a goddamn telephone call... with the blood tests, THEY had been rejected because the paperwork was incorrect. Why wasn't I or the District Nurses or Vascular informed of this immediately "We've been very busy." This is why this surgery drops in and out of Special Measures. EVERY.FUCKING.TIME they try to screw up my healthcare - over the last six months they have ... (my blood pressure is rising so I won't enumerate the 7 different occasions they've screwed up, including changing my repeat prescription without consultation with the nurses or me. b) trying to get hold of the District Nurses and Vascular to re-establish the paper trail for the tests... Vascular in particular is a nightmare as they are split over 2 hospitals 15 miles / 40 minutes apart excluding finding somewhere to park at HW, which can take 30 minutes ... And why am I the person who has to sort it out EVERY.FUCKING.TIME ... what a clusterfuck. *If anyone objects to this fine Anglo Saxon verb/adjective then do let me know |

Morning all. Today, I am in the office - on a Monday! Madness. TVblog - It's Always Sunny, new series. Two episodes in. I have laughed. Gamesblog - I've run out of cotton in DQB2, so cannot finish the gift shop that I'm trying to build for a quest. Looks like I'll just have to give it some bare earth flooring instead of the luxurious carpet that I have have-laid. In the meantime, the oasis is almost complete. If my villagers would visit the toilets more often, I could get it done much quicker (I need the nightsoil you see). Musicblog - thanks to the latest Re:view in RLM, I listed to the Tron Legacy soundtrack on the way into work. 4* It’d be less nerdy to just say you listened to Daft Punk on the commute. |

Isn't today supposed to be the most depressing Monday of the year or something? They're not wrong. Fortunately I'm wiggling from home. Incidentally - pro tip - 'accidentally' leave a note on your office door saying 'Away, Back tomorrow' regardless of whether you are in your office or not. Works wonders.
Games - I've already forgotten. Tokyo Mirage sessions probably?

Today is my first official day of being unemployed and I managed to wake up at 6am, like an idiot.
I've done some life admin, gone to the gym and now tidying up.
Think I preferred work.

You should link to radiohead.com rather than the Guardian. I think it's a great idea, but aimed more at dirty casuals, rather than those of us who already have everything on multiple formats. What it does have is some concert videos I don't think I have. It's not a surprise as they have made a few obscure tracks available for streaming recently. My Radiohead support group (a fetishist group, not a recovery group) will no doubt be able to tell me what is there. |
