I don't read them either, it's a slippery slope. One of my friends is now really bad with it, even on nights out he constantly reads his work emails on his 'phone and emails back , takes calls etc... |

Right I’ve failed to come up with any puns so I’m going to explain to crank why his HR team should fire him forthwith.
The relevant definition of pride here is “consciousness of one's own dignity” this echoes the sentiments of St Augustine’s that it is the “love of one’s own excellence” which in turn brings to mind Bill & Ted’s entreaty to “be excellent to one another” so to agree that people* can enjoy their own dignity and encourage them to do so indicates that you are confident in yourself and also deserve to feel pride, largely because you are almost certainly not a Sun or Mail journalist. I don’t know where I’m going with this and should probably answer that phone

I just think it would obviously be better if everything everyone does (not just sex) was furtive and guilt ridden. Surely sobbing yourself to sleep just before dawn is the natural way for everyone to live?

Not mine, I hasten to add. One of them has actually seen Blues before and agreed to go again. I am very hopeful of introducing them to a lifetime of misery. Particularly as the alternative for one is Nottingham Forest. |
