Gamesblog - visited another one of the sandy-shore islands, and now have infinite grass (not like that crankcaller) and something else. Stone maybe? I don't know. Anyway, I now have a dog in tow. What I really want are sheep, as I'm constantly running out of cotton. Yes. I know. TVblog - I want to watch more of The Expanse, but is just not happening. Still, I have the absolutely brilliant The Boys to go through, so the consolation prize isn't too shabby. RuiningGreta'sFutureBlog - I have three computers running the the study at present. Work laptop, iMac with news and music, and my towered Amiga (which is copying files). Anyone got a large stash of fossil-fuels?

Sweet backdoor excessive solo win boasting from Shenguin there. Oooh, get me, I have two Fortnite solo wins and the roof is falling down over BabyFark's head.

I tried to say happy birthday earlier, but the internet would not let me. Happy birthday.
I also got a Guardian pick recently I did not notice. I am retrospectively advertising this.

Fun and lively song to celebrate tenthenemy 's day of birth. Bit off to chose a song from someone who died in their early 50s.

Japanese officials have confirmed a further 99 people have been infected by the new coronavirus onboard the quarantined cruise ship Diamond Princess, bringing the total to 45.
You've got to love the Guardian's approach to numbers.

Morning all.
One for Dr Shenguin, I've developed a sharp pain in my wrist (not from too much "Fortnite solo"), how long do I have?
OTTM: Its that time of year that I feel the need to finally beat Bloodborne, Sekiro and the souls Trilogy. BLoodborne is easy yeah? Five hours or so to knock it out?

Bloodborne takes about 15 hours, fewer if you don't do all the optional bosses.

20-25 if you do absolutely everything reasonably competently.

Legoland? Do your family really hate you that much? They do, but you think of a better way of keeping four small children entertained. Thank you all for your kind wishes. I'd also like to point out that the improvement in the weather is totally down to me having been good all year. In other news, played more DQB2 last night (putting the finishing touches on my new second floor east wing) and started finally watching the 3rd series of The Detectorists. The problem we always have with the programme is that it is just too close to home, because yes, we have given many talks to local archaeology societies consisting of a handful of weirdos in community halls just like the one the metal detecting society meets in. So accurate and funny. We then came to the scene where Andy finds a whistle, cleans it and blows into it, triggering a flashback. I asked the Preferred Mammal whether he knew what this scene was referencing as I know that he's not familiar with M.R. James's ghost stories. Predictably he had no idea, so we started going down that particular rabbit hole. Years ago we actually watched the BBC adaptation of Whistle and I'll Come to You with John Hurt, but Pref. Mam. had obviously forgotten about it. So I found the 1968 TV adaptation with Michael Hordern on YouTube and we watched that. No offence to John Hurt, but that one is still miles better, although neither is as good as the original story. Some years ago after the death of a dear friend and colleague we had to clear his flat. He had never been in any form of relationship and had no close family. His life revolved around his academic research, dabbling in the antiquities market and his faith as a Christadelphian. No internet, no television, not even a fridge, just a lot of academic books and Christian literature with only some light bedside reading in the form of a book on Ecclesiastes. Of the many hundreds of books he owned, only one book was completely out of character: a collection of M.R. James ghost stories. His Christadelphian brethren thought that it might have belonged to his sister who he had survived, but I knew better. He would have really enjoyed these stories where the likes of Cambridge (his alma mater) dons unwisely handle cursed antiquities or archaeological artefacts and subsequently come a cropper. That book is now mine, time to read it again...

So has anyone actually played Kingdom Come Deliverance? I bet it sits un-played for years on my computer. I have barely made any progress Witcher 3 to this day.
