I always sympathize with Ralph... his reaction is perfectly rational to the news that No 10, aka BoJo Cummings refuses to condemn the Sabisky eugenics ideas directly ... It's not you that's the unitard Ralph, it's a P.M. who allows his advisor to appoint advisors 'who think outside the box', including a loathsome Nazi thinkalike. We appear to be exchanging direct rule from Brussells for direct rule by Cummingsbots.

Morning all! Gamesblog - my partner watched agog as I seemingly-endlessly dug in DQB2, as I excavated another line for my underground network. In the process, I found the bottom of the map. TVblog - I'm getting towards the end of The Boys. Sad times. OTTM - I read an article on the Somme last night before bed, so naturally felt very cheery.

Top of the morning.
Games: A solitary game of Apex at 6 a.m. this morning when I was half asleep and had 10 minutes to spare. It went badly.
Telly: Fear the Walking Dead and Narcos on the train
Weather: The sun is actually poking through the clouds here now and the rain has stopped.
Weatherall: I think my favourite gig was the Primal Scream Screamadelica anniversary tour when he was on. A very messy night.

Morning!
Teevee: Detectorists
Ganes: DQB2 and I've made good progress by spreading my poison. You heard. After that I went on another expedition to Sunny Sands and tunneled through it for mythril and diamonds. I had turned down the infinite resources in favour of keeping the flute working for these two material. Success! Although it's difficult to resist the temptation of the 'check' button prompt every time.
OTTM: Caroline Nokes: "Cannot believe No 10 has refused to comment on Andrew Sabisky. I don’t know him from a bar of soap, but don’t think we’d get on ...". Here's a hint, Caroline: the bar of soap smells better and doesn't spout Nazi eugenics claptrap.

This morning the bloke delivering groceries admired my choice of whisky (Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold). He was happy to learn that it's still on offer.

Depends on what you mean by 'played'.

Post by Sheep2 on Feb 18, 2020 10:55:30 GMT
If you mean played the first hour or so and quite enjoyed it then yes.
If you mean competed it or at least put a decent effort in then no.
I did also buy the DLC though

It is high on my list of RPGs to complete. Definitely in the top 10.
1 Pillars Of Eternity (actually playing this) 2-10:
Elex Kingdom Come Deliverance Pillars of Eternity 2 Divinity Original Sin Lords Of The Fallen Baldur's Gate Outward Greedfall Baldur's Gate 2
Bubbling Under: The Surge The Surge 2 Divinity Original Sin 2 Sekiru Icewind Dale Neverwinter Nights Planescape Trmenet Torment Tides Of Numeria The Technomancer
That is just the PS4 RPGs. I've got more unplayed on PC and PS3

I've read the IAS report and it's a recapitulation and reanalisys of existing research... The IAS are part of a broad range of pressure groups who advocate higher taxes on alcohol as part of a strategy to discourage alcohol consumption. 1) This is lazy reporting - predominately a recapitulation of the summary of the report. No further analysis. 2) This is not new research, and there is no reexamination of the methodology or quanta of the foundation data collected in the research this report draws upon. 3) This is a very obvious attempt to get government to jack up taxes on alcohol because they think it won't impact the poor as much as the rich. It has nothing to do with the massive anti-alcohol axe hidden behind its back. Very flawed. There is a very strong case against excessive alcohol intake - this isn't it.

Although it's difficult to resist the temptation of the 'check' button prompt every time. What the what?? On the Explorer's Shores the flute leads you to the scavenger hunt items but will stop working as soon as you've ticked them off your list by 'checking' them, right? So I've ticked everything off my list except for mythril and diamonds. The downside is that I don't have unlimited coal and iron at my disposal, but it's easy to get enough of these otherwise. The upside is that I can go there any time and straight follow the flute which leads me to all the mythril and diamonds that have spawned on the island. It also lets me know when there's nothing left. It is just so much more efficient than running through the tunnels and looking for the piles of rocks that contain these rare materials.

Weatherall: I think my favourite gig was the Primal Scream Screamadelica anniversary tour when he was on. A very messy night. Hmm. fuck knows. Probably the sub club at Easter sometime in the mid 90s when I was back up to Glasgow for the weekend. Was meant to surprise my mum and never made it home till the Tue. That or my pal's stag at ALFOS a couple of years ago. I'll need to check out FB and see what folk with better memories say as I'm sure there will be a few "Oh yeah, I was at that..." moments.

Kingdom Come Deliverance is not a racist game.
It's tricky, but particularly in the world of gaming if we excluded everyone with weird unpleasant views there wouldn't be that many games left to play.
