Michael Elphick would've fitted well here ... none of your glass of whisky or 4: 2 litres a day. Which might have something to do with dying at 55 from a heart attack.
I gave up drinking spirits on a regular basis in 1991... 86-90 units of alcohol a week plus a glass of brandy every night, getting up 5h later was just tooo much, so I cut them out and stopped drinking at 9 pm... 7 hrs before I got up.
