Second breakfast disaster!
Put mustard on the cheese n ham roll instead of the roast beef one. It's ok but pickle would have been better.

Hello all.
Had a dentist appointment this morning in Rottingdean. Ordinarily, the traffic is horrendous of a morning, so I decided to walk there on the undercliff. Naturally, as soon as I got to the coast road, it was pretty empty.
Anyway, it was a nice walk in beautiful sunshine, so mustn't complain.
And an opportunity to get some shots on the way back too.
Gamesblog - none for me. I was pretty knackered yesterday, and ended up going to bed early.

Quick question, just to be sure, is Chumbles’ “Sabbelkistker” the same as that lunatic Dowling’s exclamations, that is; the ramblings of a diseased mind, rather than a specific curse?
If you are perversely fascinated with the habits of a madman, by the way, it’s possible to trace Dowling’s progress around the web by dint of a google on the word “Trallagh”. It’s rather like following the spoor of a dysenteric leopard that’s been terrorising your village, whilst armed only with a crudely hewn spear and a box of Merlot.

Hullo.
Tried booking an Ocado delivery slot for the weekend, only to find that the soonest available one is Tuesday, and now even that is no longer there. I suppose it means that more people are staying at home and avoiding going shopping. Considering that there has only been one case of Coronavirus in Birmingham who's just left hospital (I looked it up) this is probably a bit of an overreaction.
Diplomacy: Very tempted, too worried about the time sink. I everyone anonymous? I've never played Fog of War mode.
DQB2: Tonight's the night. I will go and see the hermit.
Dowling: My promise to meet him in Animal Crossing still stands. Should I be worried?
OTTM: I have installed a box with our landline that is supposed to keep out the extremely persistent scam callers. It's got a big red button that lights up during a call. By pressing it one adds the caller's number to the "blocked" list. Hehe.

My experience of Dip is being taken back to school to take an exam which I hadn't revised for whilst experiencing the worst of humanity and an occasional affirmation that on the whole people aren't shits.

I should have got 9/15, but the satellite pic looked weird and I gave up following the course of the Danube. tenthenemy Fog of War will take less time than a normal game, because all messages are shown to everyone and no-one knows whether "France" is really France or even who is playing France! It's much more fun than regular Diplomacy ... |
