The only good thing about not being able to drink is not waking up to feeling like this...

Morning. I've just found out that using 'crazy' to describe someones erratic behaviour is offensive. Who is actually being offended by that? Worlds gone fucking mental. Anyway, hi. Felice Landry , don't bother learning to drive, if you were considering it anyway, it's shit (saying this with a whole 6 hours experience, so take with a grain of salt). Chumbles , is something like this no good for you, to help with keyboard woes? I realise it's Razer, and therefore overpriced, but other vendors with similar peripherals are available. Games! Just a bit of WoW, to do the seemingly endless dailies, and Pokemon Moon, to try and get my 'dex filled before the 'Bank' is no longer free. TV! TWD. I've invested too much time into it to stop watching now. *Insert comment comparing show to zombie here*.

Thanks for looking that out Conchord , I'd love to use something like that, but have to I lie on my side* so whatever device I use has to held in position by both hands... I've spent a ton of cash looking for something effective - best so far is a Perixx PERIMICE-517 Wired Ergonomic Mouse. 2 outside fingers on my right hand curl over the left side whilst my thumb and 1st and second fingers operates it. My left hand holds it steady... *Healed pressure sore damage.

Morning all.
Managed to drive through a chunk of pavement that had fallen into the road this morning. Very foggy this way, so didn't see it until it was too late. I took a look at the tyre that had gone through it, and aside from some mud on the sidewall, seemed fine. Got to work okay, and been sat down for around half an hour, when I got a call from security - "your tyre is hissing".
Luckily, there's a Kwikfit less than a minute's drive from work. Which is where I am now.

I do remember a Home Office edict which stated that we could no longer refer to someone as being 'mentally ill', as they were actually 'mental health survivors'.

amipal there, admitting he is ' known to security'. He had to sign in as he's actually at the office so infrequently that they didn't believe he worked there any more.

Hello. My name is Cobblers and I am a blocked drain survivor. Well, so far I am, I’m not sure what the incubation period for cholera actually is.
After last night’s heavy rain there is a particularly impressive bloom of effluent mushrooming in the middle of a large puddle, which is really doing its bit to keep housing prices in the local area reasonable. I have a skilled operative with a pair of stout boots arriving at lunchtime but sadly am unable to worv-from-home as IT still haven’t sorted me with a new laptop and, perhaps more crucially, the bog is a no-go-zone, in all possible interpretations of that phrase.
Given that my upcoming ski holiday looks like it’s going to get the kibosh from the Chinese Bat Plague, it’s been a real four-star week. Four stars.

Chumbles Another possibility? cheap enough that if not suitable you can bin.. I use one on my raspberry pi and occasionally setting up pc's / android boxes etc. The trackpad isn't amazing but does the job. mine is backlit. not sure if that one is. I have one as a backup, thanks for the thought - the buttons are too small for my stubby digits and the trackpad is an abomination for gaming. I search for a miraculous solution every 2-3 weeks, but to no avail.

I have an enormous amount of bog roll, albeit slightly used and erupting as part of a rather avant garde foetid fountain of effluvia in my back garden. Free, but collection is required.

I've still got my Brexit stash*. Maybe I should keep this safe and buy more just to be on the safe side?
* Well strictly I had £12 off if you spend £80 in Tesco and loo roll was on offer anyway, so I loaded up very cheaply. I still have at least 6 months supply.

I hope she recovers before we go to Copenhagen on Thursday. It's probably easier to get drugs disguised as a bomb through airport security than an Asian with a high temperature just now. Inverkeithing has been classed as low risk. The permanently high alcohol concentration in the blood of the locals makes an outbreak unlikely. tenthenemy I'm gambling on things going full mad max and stockpiling kitchen roll and newspaper.

Surely one of the best things about potential societal collapse is no longer having to worry about unnecessary luxuries like bog roll.

Last night somewhere in the neighbourhood a house alarm went off around 1 a.m. Triffic. It went off and on for about half an hour before someone managed to silence it. *yawns* Morning. Vidja James: Intensively played DQB2 until it was time to pack it in and until I was beginning to feel a bit nauseous from motion sickness.* Dinner: Steak, mushrooms, potato croquettes, red wine. OTTM: Improvised breakfast this morning as we were out of our usual breakfast things. This is due to the unusual demand on Ocado deliveries because of worried well/sensibly self isolating - take your pick - folks. Talked to my brother who had first hand experience of empty supermarket shelves when he wanted to buy pasta and flour, with one woman taking the last four bags. Who needs four bags of flour? Btw, the German term for 'panic buying' is ' Hamsterkauf' www.dw.com/en/coronavirus-scare-when-will-hamsterkauf-become-an-english-word/a-52635400*Spoiler, maybe.
