I have seen two of the Harry Potter films. The first one, which I quite enjoyed, and one of the later ones, where he seemed to spend much of the film stood by a lake acting like a bratty emo teenager. I did not care for it.

I have never seen the Harry Potter films but I understand that they include Helena Bonham-Carter playing a deranged sadistic witch, so I think that’s something I can fully support, regardless of any other merits they may have.

Working from home with lots of actual working. Am I doing this right? Best apocalyptic games to see us through 2 weeks isolation? What needs to be stocked up on, drinking alcohol hand gel seems like the end of the line.

Has everyone got enough food and toilet paper to last 2 weeks?
I cannily snuck a few extra tins of Heinz soup on the last shop so I'm sure I will be fine.

Jesus titty fuckin' Christ my pension fund has taken one hell of a hit. You and the rest of the world. Irrespective of the damage the virus will do, the fiscal and economic drag is every bit as worrying. I'm close to being locked away for 4 months*... oh. *Hunter Davies is apparently leading the zimmer frame charge against being locked in for 4 months. Good of then to decide it's OK to get and give. I hope the selfish old bastard has a DNR.

Hah! I knew not having a pension would count in my favour eventually. The old people phoning in to Radio2 are raging about being asked to avoid getting Bat plague, I say let them do what they like. "This is disgusting and ageist, this is not North korea"
Zero games over weekend, have been heartily supporting my local pub, am pretty sure they would go out of business if they had to close for 3 days never mind 3 months.
Harry Potter Movies: Worst movies ever, even worse than the Transformers movies.

Space cake and playstation in isolation with a bunch of Dutch young people sounds terrible. Despite the space cake and playstation.

I've only watched the Harry Potter films, not read the books. The films are better imo

I see Keef has an article at The Other Place about building a gaming PC. Incredibly without the advice of long time Guardian Gamesblog contributor Simon from Norwich.

Hello.
Ocado finally has its technical issues under control. They now make you join a queue for their website to prevent it from constantly keeling over. There's also a disclaimer that they are currently not accepting new customers until they can organise more deliveries.
So I successfully completed next week's shopping. All is well, apart from the prospect of being cooped up for the foreseeable future for the sake of the Pref. Mam., who unfortunately ticks almost all the bat plague risk boxes. But this is where my lifelong training as a couch potato is kicking in. I knew it would come in useful one day.
Ganes: The usual. Made great strides towards my completionist goals. As I've said before, the release of Animal Crossing concerns me a great deal as I can already see that I won't be having time for any of the DLC that I bought before I leave everything behind on this mortal plane to ascend to the new life that Tom Nook is offering me. Only four more sleeps!
I've also indulged in a spot of save scumming as the game did something I wasn't prepared for. I love DQB2 but it is just impossible to play without internet help. Felice was talking about working towards a god weapon in a game and a quick look on the interwebs shows that by sheer dumb luck I've apparently stumbled across the strongest weapon in the game, but the method of obtaining it is very weird and totally obscure (to me at least), referencing a famous glitch in Dragon Quest 2.
Harry Potter films: Own all of them on DVD somewhere as they were a staple Christmas gift at the time they came out. Never watched the last two. The only one that's any good is Prisoner of Azkaban.

I'm an inverter and a save scummer, probably no surprise.
I'm staying out of the cogent, interesting and enlightening critique of the HP films as I would only lower the tone.

I've sent Keef the link to your "sweet content" amipal , so he can get you to film the 'Making of' once Graunaid has sent you the components. Edit: I'm lying although you would make a better job of it. Hmm... why is it I can't put sweet content in there without the quotes? Perhaps because some of the head shots remind me of... No offence meant!

Jeff's tracking system's thrown a wobbly... "Arriving today by 8 PM" at 11.30 a.m. "Your parcel will arrive between "2.45 PM - 4.45 PM" at 1.30 p.m. "Your parcel will arrive between "11.00PM - 2.00 PM" "Still arriving today by 9 PM* *Sorry we missed your delivery slot, your parcel is still on its way"
*sigh*

I cannot remember where it was but there used to be a regular contributer i tbink to the Guardian who called himself Simon from Norwich.
When we met Limni (who posted as Limni) his name is Simon and he is from Norwich. It became an in joke to refer to Simon from Norwich. Very meta.
