Not sure if being an arsehole is an underlying health issue or not. I'd ask Dr. Shenguin.

The dog's last day was yesterday, managed to get one half decent picture of him and I before he went. There is a massive hole in my life now, which I will do my best to not fill with booze this week.
Sorry for your loss mlu, may your companion rest in green fields under warm skies.

Making your way in the world today Takes everything you've got Taking a break from all your worries Sure would help a lot Wouldn't you like to get away?
All those nights when you've got no lights The check is in the mail And your little angel hung the cat up by its tail And your third fiance didn't show Sometimes you want to go
Where nobody knows your name Yet they're always glad you came You wanna be where you can see Our troubles are all the same You wanna be where nobody knows your name
Where nobody knows your name Yet they're always glad you came You want to go where people know, people are all the same You want to go where nobody knows your name

Apparently they started filming a tv series based on Station Eleven in January. Superb timing, no need to pay extras to pretend to be mortally ill on street corners.

Bearing in mind that it's St Patrick's Day, I made sure that we had an appropriate dinner: Mexican pork with tortillas, salsa, rice and beans. As St Patrick himself would have said, cuatro estrellas. Tried to log on to the Ocado website to check tomorrow's delivery, was told that I was number 7845 in the 'virtual queue', that they don't have any free delivery slots for the next days and my wait to log on would be approximately 2 hours. I didn't bother. I can only hope I haven't forgotten anything. Here's something amusing from the recent article on online games recommendations by Keef & Co.: www.theguardian.com/games/2020/mar/17/25-best-online-video-games-coronavirus-self-isolating#comment-138993813PeterLoud5: Silgen: PeterLoud5:

Whilst listening to the BBC World Service, I heard something that genuinely made me laugh. Obviously they need to ensure that it's accessible to all cultures. The piece was about a study into Narwhal tusks, reported here by Inverse: The BBC reporter said, "These fish [sic] have long straight horns, like Unicorns..." - not a clever simile, as the mythical creature is known mainly in indo-aryan cultures and not always by that name!
