I cba replying into the guardian thread but theres a whole lot of irony about discussing the poisonous video games community, when they've done their best to nuke the crap out of their own community which is in the main fully supportive of all they're arguing for.

I have noticed that the Guardian picks are picked early doors now, so if you spam your comments and 100% agree with the author like a trained lap dog you are likely to be picked.

Plan A would, ideally, have been to make a limited number of valid, reasonable and - above all - affirmative comments regarding the article, in the hope that future articles might leave space to discuss games and other things that matter.
Plan B one would expect to be something broadly similar and, as you might expect, Plan C would be fish puns.
