So far I’ve upped my average alcohol intake by about three litres a week. At the moment I’m busy making oversized cocktail umbrellas, novelty flamingo decorations and giant fake fruit ahead of this afternoons team video conference. I intend to have a sequence of increasingly preposterous drinks to hand, just out of shot, and to go through them over the course of the meeting. |

Shenguin was beer teasing me about draught beer last night. Like cock teasing, but a lot lot less welcome.
And I really really really do not want to be cock teased by a male relative*, ever.
He is only being helpful because I will send death squads to Somerset if he beer teases again.
I have been busy online checking out possible beer deliveries. working.
I settled on mini-casks of Summer Lightning and 24 mixed bottles.
I might have to try and get a cask of Ghost Ship tonight as my delivery is going to take a few days.
Summer Lightning is the best. I went to their brewery once. It is on an industrial estate near Salisbury**. It is not really set up for visitors. The nice lady laughed at me when I tried to buy all of their beer.
* or female relative. I am not into the incest
** I happened to be in the vicinity. I did not drive there especially. Honest.

Is that 3L of beer/cider/wine per week extra? or 3L extra of pure alcohol? Which implies 50-60 pints extra. I reckon the latter. Also the sequence of preposterous drinks should be just in shot. It is not like they do not know about you anyway. |

I’m intending to bring the drinks on screen in sequence starting at thatchers with ice, umbrella and flamingo, then a mai tai with giant comedy cut out fruit around the edge and then maybe finish on a nice spoon of smack, as I don’t have time to do a frozen margarita with a beer upsidedown in it.

I may be able to take tomorrow off work. This is however dependent on me getting a whole load of stuff done today. At the moment I'd say the chances are 50/50, unless I decide to work long into the evening.
I have a video call between 5 and 6, during which I would usually have a sneaky beer from a coffee mug. The issue I've got is this end of the day beer usually does not help my motivation to do more work. I guess the question is do I switch to spirits instead?

As well as draught ale I could* get 5L kegs of Pelforth and Pelforth IPA sent to me www.beerwulf.com/en-gb/p/beers/pelforth-ipa-5l-kegI have never heard of Pelforth IPA. I expect the hops adds a pleasing crispness to the slightly sweet beer. But still eases the pain. I was trying to get some Paulaner, but it looks like that is not going to happen. * tomorrow. Maybe. Must be patient. |

I have nearly run out of beer. I had ordered 20 more bottles but they sent an email today, 3 days after the order, saying they can't deliver to my address. If I end up having to survive on white wine I will not be happy.
