I went to the farm shop earlier. Not to buy a farm, but to purchase fruit and veg. Was quite quiet there today.
The roads, though, appear to be much busier than they were two weeks ago. What are people doing?

Also played some AC. dakylosaurus419 , I think you were asking about combat in Mount and Blade 2 yesterday? It's very much like the first so you will need to use a mouse, or controller. Until you get a full suite of cavalry that is, then you just tell them to charge, afk for 5 mins, come back and loot. Never sim. Ever. I lost 3 Heavy Lancers (out of an army of ~190) to a group of 15 looters (lowest level enemies). It is the only way to level Tactics though (they've gone to using Elder Scrolls type levelling in this one). . . Thanks for that, I had vague memories of being able to 'auto' run the combat in the older ones but I never actually used it. It might be playable with gamepad I guess but I don't think it is fully supported yet. On the other hand I could break out the mouse and keyboard and play it at my "work" desk... |

Impressive; massive wind turbines in the background looming out of the fog. Great word looming - I used to be accused of looming; a lot. It was the way I used to catch the bar staff's attention ... Wu Julie has dropped off the shopping - she is stop and gawp gorgeous, even with a mask on. Pure blonde hair and hazel / green eyes. I keep telling her to leave the bags in the airlock, but she keeps opening the inner door, so I have to scuttle off like a tortoise on prosthetics... comme ça: |

I’ve finally had enough and trimmed back the isolation beard to stubble. It was starting to go from Tormund to hobo, to be fair.

Then Groovypost (yuk) has posted how to change it to This PC*Because you've opened a folder in FE to move a file, "quick access" shows where the file was, not where it now is...

Lockdown peace has been shattered by the builders coming back 3 doors down and nail-gunning the absolute fuck out of everything. It sounds like the 3 stooges mounting an assault on Idlib. Chaos.
Aside from that I’ve just done the maths and my local is somehow undercutting the brewery he’s currently buying most of his stuff from by about 40%. On that basis alone it would be rude not to order another 5l and take the day off tomorrow.

For reference, the only way I could get it to work was bizarrely, next time I went back to imgur to the gallery as per Chumbles' instructions, there was a different set of options for copying links so I grabbed the Bbcode one from there and presto.
Games: Final boss of FFVII remake. OMFG finally found <redacted>. Thought I was doing ok in the fight until the entire party got one-shotted. Gane over. Tonight we go again.
OTTM: Lots of Daft Punk to listen to now thanks to Jeff. New SSD being ordered once all the bills go out the bank. This month I spent £20 on petrol. Usual monthly spend in April is around £150. The only good thing about lockdown.

Many thanks to dakylosaurus419 for the heads up on Deadly Premonition! Deffo taking advantage of that. Ganes: AC:NH and tomorrow Nook's Cranny will be shut for refurbishment. Great opportunity to play a different game for once! Only kidding, great opportunity to give the whole island much needed infrastructure instead of perusing the wallpaper and carpet section and going into mass production of the hot item of the day. TV: 1½ episodes of Killing Eve Series 3. OTTM: Earlier this afternoon the granddaughter's scooter arrived. The weather is bad so she's got to wait before taking it for a spin. But no matter, there are priorities. One look at the bright pink scooter, festooned with a unicorn bag, and her verdict is clear: "NEEDS MOAR BLING". So she's busy putting stickers and ribbons on it... Weekly Ocado delivery later tonight, only got a late delivery slot three weeks ago. Some items missing, some interesting substitutions. Main thing is that the beer supply is okay. |
