I've got stuff that very much is not on spotify. I spent much of Saturday listening to Nine Inch Nails and Nirvana demos. They are not as good as the finished songs.
Though apparently obscure Carter USM B-sides are there.

I haven't listened to Carter USM since 1995.
I'm hovering over the play button on Spotify, weighing up whether or not to ruin their memory.

Morning all!
In the world of video james, I've been playing a lot of Pokemon sword, got the water gym leader beat and have been levelling up my magic carp to beat the fire gym leader. Also some Disco Elysium, where I'm a bit stuck, although I did discover that I'd sold my gun at a pawn shop, and had a lovely chat with some men playing "balls" (boules?).
Then for some reason I fired up Civilization 5, since after years of attrition I now have a laptop capable of running it to some extent. TB. This led to a vast swelling of overconfidence wherein I tried to play Europa Universalis IV again, as the Ottoman Empire. The game UI is a little "dense", and the thing itself is opaque and utterly impenetrable. I worked up the courage to unpause it for a few days worth of game time, and no one declared war on me and the peasants weren't revolting. A clear cut victory. TB.

For you culture vultures, the 2011 National Theatre production of Frankenstein, directed by Danny Boyle, and starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller is currently available to watch (for free *) on YouTube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dI88grIRAnY* donations welcome.

I almost forgot - Snowrunner.
Its only the game Dark Souls could have been. Its basically Dark Souls with trucks. Someone also referred to it as Truck Stranding, which is spot on.

crankcallerI have persisted with Billions and now onto s2. It's a bit heavy handed but it's pretty good background entertainment. I am struggling a bit with Paul Giamatti's decision to deliver all his lines in the style of Rob Brydon doing an impression of Al Pacino. Also, the guy who investigates him at the start of s2 is clearly amipal's evil twin.

Crankcaller
I had a friend at university who absolutely loved her denim jacket. She would wear it all the time - with blue jeans, black jeans, denim skirt. She even had some dungarees.
She got quite tired of me asking her if she was going to buy a record by the Status Quo.
Not tired enough to drop the double denim.

I hadn't noticed the Yum Bang. I think it's laudatory..?
Rolling Jr the Younger has only one CD: Grand Prix by TF. He plays it on repeat ad nauseam.

Grand Prix is great. You should buy him Songs From Northern Britain and Bandwagonesque as well, at least.
Need a bit of variety.
There was someone years ago on the blog who was a massive Fanny. Dizzywasanegg I think. He was from a small Scottish island, bit odd, but lovely. All the hippy music as well. Big Neil Young fan.

Felice posted this a bit late last night. I've only just seen it. It deserves a lot more love. A lot more.
Do any of you hold conversations in your head and then get annoyed when you lose an argument to yourself?
Asking for a friend.

Actually, do you know what, don't bother; I can't be arsed.
