Skyrim updates. I must confess, I took my first steps towards stealth archer, courtesy of a very generous bandit dropping an elven bow, way before they should be dropping that sort of thing. I just need to stay away from the thieves guild. Where’s that Lovers Stone? Riften? Sigh... Stealth archer eh??? - bound bow spell early on is great. Get mystic binding and you have a daedric level bow early on. RoF is great. The only downside is that the spell is in a bucket in Fort Amol which ain't easy. The only downside is that it does make a noise when casting and only lasts 2mins (insert joke). I still keep it as it's a great shootout option. Lovers Stone is near Makarth up a hill as you travel east along the road. An eady way to upgrade your stealth is to crouch whenever you use the bow. Any use of it when in stealth gets you XP in archery and sneak. |

Same here. At high levels apparently mage build are good but spending the first 20 or so levels being killed by everything isn't much fun. You're basically Paul Daniels taking on bandits and you don't even have Debbie as a fallback option.
