Morning all,
Just finished up drafting the script for the podcast. It's on Tarquin, the last King of Rome. Boy it was a clusterxxxx back then.
Gameschat. More AC Odyssey, some missions and the slight annoyance at the gear levels. Really good spear? Shit spear a few levels later and costs to upgrade. Enjoy the scenery, unsure about all the ruins and stone theatres, kinda ruined the immersion....(wink)...

What is the beef with stone theatres? Clue me up.

That's bloody brilliant. I for one welcome our wearable holographic nano-layer catalyser overlords. Can go on the shelf next to my bomb detector.

What is the beef with stone theatres? Clue me up. I seem to remember stone theatres as a later version (Roman). The origins of theatre are debated but early theatres were found where they made use of a natural feature where the audience could sit and watch. Wooden structures followed with stone as the final form. (hurries to google).

Also, the ruins must have been left by the world civilization of the Atlanteans. Danny Wallace knew this, which is why they had to silence him by removing him from the AC games.

I mean, my ankles sob when I watch someone getting up from a chair.
Just me? Oh...
Games? Total Warhammering, thinking about getting AC:Odd in the Epic sale, as I have a £10 off coupon which will make it £6. Not sure it’ll run on my laptop though. I also already have it on PS4 with al the DLC.

Good morning, Today is my Saturday. I am not back at work until Monday. When my boss asked me about cover arrangements while I was off I tried explaining to him that there's not much to cover as I don't really do anything worthwhile. He thought I was joking.
Ganes: A bit more RE2make. Got out of the police station and into the sewers. I also jumped on the discord bandwagon and picked up the NBA game for the Switch.
Tv: Bosch, top telly. Also some more Community, which is starting to feel like a slog. Troy and Abed did a body swap for some reason.

TV - White Lines
Making me long for the days of 90’s Manchester, and raving in Ibiza.
What do you mean I’ve never been to Ibiza, and I’d have been 4 in 1992? Oh...

Clubbing nostalgia chat: I'm about halfway through the Drum & Bass Movement documentary on YouTube. It has made me feel old though.

“Glastonbury Town Council“ every 3rd person down there is a pound-shop warlock. The fog of patchouli oil and cheap incense is probably dense enough to stop everything short of a nearby gamma ray burst anyway.

I have never been to Ibiza.
I went to Faliraki* the first summer it became big. It was good fun. If you like partying all night with people not cool enough for Ibiza. I got astonishingly drunk during/after England's loss to Argentina.
The flight home the next day was a top 5 hangover experience.
* A down market version of Ibiza, if your market is very down.

I went to Kavos, which in 1998 was the subject of a hedonistic tv documentary. I came back covered in spots and declared never again.

To be fair, Falkirk is also widely regarded as one of the top 3 clubbing centres in Clackmannanshire.

I've been to Falkirk. To the wheel and the wall.
Faliraki is warmer and has nicer beaches. Lacks an oil refinery on the edge of town though. Apart from that they are fairly similar.
Both full of pissed up Scots trying to cadge cigges and drugs in the morning.

I've never been to the Med, but I have been clubbing in Chipping Sodbury (also in 98 during the World Cup).

I remember doing the pools back in the day. Falkirk were always good for a score draw.
