The temperature in here hasn't dropped below 26 oC, I've been on top my new airbed, which the fitter set to the 100kg - 125kg range when I told him I'm ca. 84kg. "for luck". I feel like a beached whale.

Chumbles Do they have to adjust the pressure? I'm assuming so as you've not done it yourself or its not easy for you to do so. That temperature in a bedroom is grim, sorry. Heat from the PC won't help either if it's in the room. Ordered that Samsung drive btw. Hello. TV. No. Games. Not really. OTTM. Aaaaggggggghhhhhhhh. Coffee? Why yes, I'd love one.

Morning all!
I woke up at 7:53. I am supposed to be online for work at 8:00. So a bit of a rush this morning.
I have a discomfort where my left lung is, like I've been dug in the ribs. Been there a couple of weeks. I've looked up the COVID symptoms on the NHS website, and I'm displaying none of it. Hmm.
Gamesblog - Amiga CD32 games! Chaos Engine, Roadkill, Microcosm, Guardian.
TVblog: Justified.

Morning all! I woke up at 7:53. I am supposed to be online for work at 8:00. That's seven whole minutes. How long does it take to fire up your work computer? I leave my laptop next to the bed so I can turn it on as soon as I wake up. Out of bed at 8.59 for 9.00 start. Maximum efficiency.

Chumbles Do they have to adjust the pressure? I'm assuming so as you've not done it yourself or its not easy for you to do so. That temperature in a bedroom is grim, sorry. Heat from the PC won't help either if it's in the room. The compressor is under the bed and out of my reach. While the PCs do put out some heat. This room is 2352 cubic feet with the stairwell open, as are the bifold doors to the cooler parts of the house. Believe me, I'v suffered this since December 2013. The hear from the Sun from 2pm to 9pm raises the temp to 4-7C above the external temperature and it dissipates slowly. I could open the patio doors, but besides the neighbour's bbqs, burning vegetable matter which doesn't stop smouldering until 1 am, after that at the back of the house and beyond is the part of the town which has the highest crime rate. It's not 10 years since someone was murdered 400 yards away.* I heard the scream. Whilst they follow the "Don't shit on your own doorstep" principle the younger initiates do. Especially with burglars. And long serving 'box members will recall my eyewitness account of one such a 100 yards away. *The murder was probably a London gangland hit. Scuttlebutt is that he was the bagman in a heist who kept the bag.

Morning all,
Dropped my final podcast on the Kings of Rome at the weekend. Stats say 220 downloads already which is good for a niche podcast dealing with a niche topic not hosted by a celeb. Well, that's what I tell myself.
Going to do something with a wider appeal so it's eclipses in antiquity next. NASA has lots of these and they tie in with reports of the time.
As for gaming, more AC Odyssey. Shirked the boar fight and just contending with having to upgrade gear. Playing on the hard difficulty gives it an edge for me. Just getting stuck into some hot naval action.

Games:Not yet, hopefully some more Metro later.
OTTM: I have filled yet another skip with dirt.

Come on people, surely I'm not the only one who falls out of bed 1 minute before work starts, log in so it looks like I'm there, then go for breakfast?

Ridiculous.
At the moment I have been pretty much the only person in work for large parts of the time. I divert the calls to my home number. No one can tell if I am in work, working from home, or in bed.
I did get woken up by a client phoning about 9.20 one day last week. Thankfully it was not a video call.

OTTM: I have filled yet another skip with dirt. Just pay your sewerage charges, dirty boy. OTTM: I've put the rubbish out, am about to do some fine-tuning on the Indiglo watch and then I am going to spray my trainers with DDT. Work: No.

Hello
Games - Took a punt on AC: Odyssey for £6, it works! Graphics are on low, but it’s running well with no slowdown. Which is nice.
Also downloaded Kingdom Come: Deliverance on Gamepass. Looking forward to getting my banjo. Need to find the squeal like a pig button.

Come on people, surely I'm not the only one who falls out of bed 1 minute before work starts, log in so it looks like I'm there, then go for breakfast? In normal circumstances I usually turn up at the office for about 9:10, maybe 9:15. I see no reason to change this routine simply because I don’t have to walk in.

I'd be interested to know how Kingdom Come plays out. Looks very good but also unforgiving.

Coffee; none, booze; none. Work is still going ahead, preferred mammal is on an inset day trying to workout if social distancing can be done but with the smallest children going back they will pay as much attention to the rules as DomCum. Tombstoning back in the news, did they need to rescue them or could they have just added them to the daily excess death rates, it looks there are plenty but the gov is still hiding the numbers.

I loved the first two hours of KCD. Haven't been back.
I only really play Fortnite these days. I am not even sure I like it, but it is massively addictive. In the last couple of months I have become surprisingly ok at it. 9 solo wins and 9 duos wins since April 14. I also have a positive KDR. I am working towards a KDR of 2. This is eminently achievable if I keep playing. I am averaging about 3-4 in current games. But I had a long period where I was terrible.
I keep trying to play other games and then realise I am playing Fortnite again.
