Just think, if Chumbles had never tagged me in his post last night, I’d never know about his awkward attempts at flirting crashing and burning.
I jest, fair play to you for giving it a go Chumbles.
Games! Yes! AC Odd, took down another cultist, upgraded the spear again, made my way to Athens to discover that I’m a bit underlevelled, so time for a bit of grinding. Took down the boar! No cheating either, lots of dodging, running in circles, spamming the healing ability. I also completed the Odessa quest line and now have her as a lieutenant on my ship.
I did try standing on a ledge, but it just kept taking me out of the fight.

Games: I did OK on PUBG, killed lots as there are bots and a lot of rubbish players returning now.
TV: More Space Force, it's kinda middling.
OTTM: We have hired help (amipal style) for the garden, which should start tomorrow.

TV. Would I lie to you with Bob Mortimer. He really is the best.
Games. Sold the child's 200 turnips on some rando's island so she can blow her 100k on some nonsense.
GTA. Couple of stunt races.
OTTM. Opened my laptop to put in another stick of ram and replaced the hard drive with an SSD.
Also had a look at the m.2 drive to find out a 2280 will fit so can replace the small 2242 at some point.
I'm no stranger to the inside of PC's or laptops and I'd watched a YouTube video on doing what I just did. The whole of the bottom of the case comes off after unscrewing and using a plastic pick to loosen it. It makes a terrible crack noise when you take it off. Nothing is broken but what a bad design from Lenovo. I'll be doing it once more to replace the M2 at some point but hopefully never again after that.

Going to put the 1TB drive from the lappy into the PS4 at some point and give that a clean up inside as well.

It's really easy to change the PS4 HD. You don't get access to its insides. Just a couple of screws to undo and the drive comes free.
No unpleasant cracking noises.

The Championship or the PS5 announcement? The PS5 announcement was cancelled last week. I have an email this morning inviting me to watch the announcement tomorrow. League One & Two are over. The Championship restarts on 20 June. WBA v Birmingham City 20 June 3pm k.o. I have two tickets for the game. It is mildly unfortunate that it is now behind closed doors. It will be on Sky though. I am very ambiguous about it. It will be the first time in some years I have seen us live live on TV as opposed to recorded live having been to the game. Plus no crowd there will make it odd. On the one hand it is proper football, on the other it's not really proper. Plus we will lose which does not help. |

I did try the same technique when taking on the Nemean Lion but just had to battle through it. At the beginning it's not tricky but as he weakens he moves much closer in. I shamelessly plugged a podcast I did on Spartan women in the reddit for the game. One person liked it which sort of made my day! As with much of antiquity there are some very contrary views. Particularly when it comes to Spartans who seem to have sadly been adopted by the extreme right. |
